@flyby7a I use Sony Vegas Pro 8 (hacked). DO NOT buy Sony Vegas 9 Platinum!! Its shit, its got no Chroma key effect (I tried it). You can basicly use anything except Movie Maker (so retarded now). You just need to look for a function that says "Mask" (usuallly with a pen-like mouse icon). Then you go and trace around the object (or funny-ass-guy) that you want to be shown. And simply add a track with a green color behind him (or just put the background itself) in.

@Pr2Fr33k Its not really user friendly (from my experience). But, it has interactive tutorials. You can edit your clips while you learn! :D The cost? I dont know as i said, i got (and still have) a hacked version. (in other words, it costed me $0.00).....but Vegas 8 is gone now. They arent selling Vegas 8 any more. Its old, but its got alot more damn features than version 9. Pm me if you want me to get you a copy. There should be tutorials on Youtube on how to use the mask tool.

usually you take OUT the green screen... not put it in.... and even if you put it in... you would still chroma-key it out after and the viewer would never see this type of shot.
