I'm sure I'll get thumbs down for this, but you need to work on a couple things.

1) You're out of sync with the beat several times. It kinda makes it hard to enjoy the parody.

2) You're relying WAY too much on the auto-tuner. When you're not overusing it, we can hear your voice and it's not bad.

I really wanted to like this, I did. But as others mentioned, even with autotune you still were totally out of tune. Also, the word choices need work. Try to keep the same number of syllables and the same syllable placement as the original.

As for the video, pretty good. Mirrored the song well, good thought and work went into it clearly. You just need to work on the actual song part of the song.

@MagicGuru88 Did you actually compare the lyrics to the original? I found that most of the syllables do line up, not word for word but for majority of the song it does verse by verse. It's hard to line them up word for word and most parodies don't. Considering the cleverness of these lyrics, I think it was well done.

There were a couple points that didn't line up, or didn't seem to. The most noticeable one I remember had to do with Rebirth where it spanned 3 syllables. "Re-e-birth" it couldn't be a hard fix either. Just takes some attention to detail.

I really liked the video itself, not so much the audio, but enough's been said about that, plus I'm no audio producer ;) . I think you got great depth in the actual editing in the video, the dimensions were very well put together!

Don't be discouraged though by the comments! Some people are just being constructive when it comes to the auto-tune business.

Auto-tune is generally at the hand of the person mixing the music. The mixer over did it. No big deal for the first try. Then again, the over auto-tune fits the song in a way.

I have heard the singer sing without it. She is decent enough to not need so much auto tune and effects if any.

I got this idea a few months back. It's been an interesting experience putting it together. This is my first Machinima, and I had fun. Which was the point, having fun. A few people have "complained" about how the vocals sound. I'm sorry, i'm not a professional. We learned our lesson, less auto tune and messing with pitch next time.
