I've been researching Evita for about a year now and have come to the conclusion that she was just human. Humans have ambition, which she did have, but she mostly had ambitions for the people. Eva worked for them until she died, not wanting to let cancer stop her. That ambition killed her, but ultimately makes her the bravest woman I have heard of. Even days before she died, she forced herself to walk out of fear she would die. Eva is a good woman and may she rest in peace forever.

I my readings and stories from my parents I found Evita to be a much more interesting individual than her husband. My granddaughter is doing a paper on Eva Peron. She is an interesting person, but it's very difficult to separate fact from fiction. The oligarchy before & after Peron's presidency did everything they could to discredit her.

You are correct, but Peron was in contact with the Nazis before he came to power and the German Ambassador was a buddy. The Krauts were pushing for Peron to become Argentina's leader. Do you think it coincidence that so very many Nazis wound up in Argentina after WWII? They had a friend in Peron. Of all the countries in the world, why did the Nazi butchers flee to Argentina? having recently completed a novel on Eva Peron, I can tell you that the movie was PURE FICTION. She did NOT sleep her way to fame, the casting couch was how all actresses got parts back then. And she did not seduce Peron, she and he had a mutual relationship of trust- at least until the end.

Well technically Eva was not snubbed by the Queen. If you thoroughly research her (keyword: research) you would know that Eva's proposed time to go to England clashed with the Queen's schedule and her trip to England was cancelled. And interesting enough, Queen Elizabeth send Juan Peron her condolences when Eva Peron died.
As per some scholars, Eva was originally invited to have tea with the Queen but due to Eva's schedule & change of itinerary it was delayed for 2 weeks. Well at least Juan Peron had the actual governmental experience and political experience to place him in office, unlike Barack Obama. As well as the fact that the obsession about Barack Obama is very similar to that Evita Peron had. Calling him "the hope for the USA", "The one for change", etc. Like Evita, he is a good public speaker - but he has alot of shady connections and has shady areas in his past - like connections with the group ACORN and Fannie Mae, during the Clinton administration.
But when those in America disagree or question his policies, like in the case of Joe the Plumber - he and/or those in his party resort to dirty tactics to try and discredit them. For example, they tapped into Joe the Plumber's private records and first argued about his name and then said he owed some back taxes (that Joe explained he could not pay due to his current private situation - dealing with child payments and a divorce). That kind of tactic is very reminiscent of the Peron party.
However, unlike Juan and Eva, (as far as I am unaware of) Barack Obama also has ties to the the anti-Semitic Rhasid Khalidi (member of the PLO) and as an adult, has close ties to Bill Ayers - amoung others.

Eva worked for them until she died, not wanting to let cancer stop her. That ambition killed her, but ultimately makes her the bravest woman I have heard of. Even days before she died, she forced herself to walk out of fear she would die. Eva is a good woman and may she rest in peace forever.

I was actually born in Buenos Aires; however, I lived the great majority of my life in the USA and have been a Citizen for many, many years. I my readings and stories from my parents I found Evita to be a much more interesting individual than her husband. My granddaughter is doing a paper on Eva Peron. She is an interesting person, but it's very difficult to separate fact from fiction. The oligarchy before & after Peron's presidency did everything they could to discredit her.
Wikpedia has a lot of information, but I noticed that their references aren't always accurate. You can get the books they use and read those. Also, there's a web site by Eva's family, and of course they have their own views. (cont)

"Santa Evita" isn't good enough. Saints aren't that rare; ARCHETYPES really are. Eva Peron is an absolute archetype of the good queen, the woman every nation on Earth instinctively wants at the head of its government. The only other such case I'd want to vouch for would be Elizabeth I.
That final radio program of Eva's was a study of female historical figures, particularly Elizabeth and Catherine. You'd never find a better scheme for a young woman to prepare to rule a nation.

The two things which seem to have thrown Americans off regarding Perons were the wardrobes and the suppression of other parties.
Mute testimony of all images says that the fancy wardrobes were for state functions, and there WERE NO other parties which Perons or the 80% who backed them had any reason to view as legit. That would be like asking Washington and Jefferson to view some sort of King George III party as legitimate.

The Nazis were very familiar with South America, because Hitler’s intentions were to invade it if he had not been defeated. His eyes were on Argentina as his next victim. After WWII many Nazis fled 2 many countries of S. America not just Argentina. However, Argentina was one of very few countries that opened its door to Jewish refugees. having recently completed a novel on Eva Peron, I can tell you that the movie was PURE FICTION. She did NOT sleep her way to fame, the casting couch was how all actresses got parts back then. And she did not seduce Peron, she and he had a mutual relationship of trust- at least until the end.

As per some scholars, Eva was originally invited to have tea with the Queen but due to Eva's schedule & change of itinerary it was delayed for 2 weeks. There were alot of telegrams between London & Evas party while no decision was made that Eva was to go to London. The delay conflicted with the Queens schedule. " The Royal family were in the habit of spending their summers in Scotland at their Balmoral estate. A Counsellor from the Argentine Embassy in London went to Madrid to explain that."

Anyhow, she did more for the poor than all of previous politicians put together. Well at least Juan Peron had the actual governmental experience and political experience to place him in office, unlike Barack Obama. As well as the fact that the obsession about Barack Obama is very similar to that Evita Peron had. Calling him "the hope for the USA", "The one for change", etc. Like Evita, he is a good public speaker - but he has alot of shady connections and has shady areas in his past - like connections with the group ACORN and Fannie Mae, during the Clinton administration.

But when those in America disagree or question his policies, like in the case of Joe the Plumber - he and/or those in his party resort to dirty tactics to try and discredit them. For example, they tapped into Joe the Plumber's private records and first argued about his name and then said he owed some back taxes (that Joe explained he could not pay due to his current private situation - dealing with child payments and a divorce). That kind of tactic is very reminiscent of the Peron party.
