I have been trying to play my COD3 (call of duty 3 backup game and it reboots right before i start the game play. i get to the menu and choose the dificulty and the chapter but before the game play starts it takes me back to the black safety screenevery time i have a 4.2u wii and im running it from neogamma r9 nothing else worked as good as that so far. please im so close but so far away can someone help me? am i missing anything?

Yeah, I did the stupid thing and updated to 3.4U before all this stuff came out. I already got the GC launcher working and I don't wanna mess around with anything else. I can't even get past the cIOS installer, stuck at the very beginning where it tells me to press A to continue. Yeah, I'm so close yet so far away.

hey i downloaded tatsunoko vs capcom for the wii (japan game) iso and burnt it with imgburn and forced ntsc and switch to vi default it shows up on my disk channel and play but shows a japanese warning saying it cant create a save file or folder and the it just stays at that screen . i know the game works but where is it going wrong at is it a prob in my app folder or i burned it at 2x using img burn with dvd -r i have anyregion changer should i use that? support the troops

Hey I installed and have everythin working well I think, but when i go play the burned copy of wii music it sarts but the tv screen goes nuts and stars flipping all over the place, you can tell th game is working but the screen is so bananas that u cant play, it just loops over and over I dont know how to describe it, any tips?

go to configure or option , enable NTSC force and switch the GC to VI(default). that's what i do with mine . XD

hey i gave up on it, now i just download ntsc version from private trackers, like torrentzilla and wiisos or ilovetorrents, crazy speed so no need to mess around with the PAL version, but thanks for the reply for real, appreciated

it doesnt matter pal or ntsc .. well a little XD . sometime even ntsc version works that well . sometime you're gonna have to mess around the launcher a little bit to work . i sure hope that the next version will be faster and a bit less complicated.

no, because the wii can only accept an sd card, maximum of 2gb. Wii iso's, when burnt to a dvd-r are 4.something (i forgot) gb.

You can if your playing a scrubbed iso. More formerly known as a ripped iso. Some things are taken from the game, but nothing major. Just as long as the scrubbed ISO isn't any bigger than the SD card. Then you can get the ISO loader and have some fun.

I was wrong about the scrubbed iso stuff. A scrubbed iso is an image that takes all the garbage data (empty space that has things written to it so the size of the image matches max dvd size) and writes 0's to it so the image is compressed to the form of what it was before the space was taken up. Like pinball, which is a 500mb image after it;s been scrubbed. It just makes it easier to download. It's also useful because you can burn right after DL. So absolutely nothing is taken from the game.

I'd say so mate. I am not sure how different the US and Japanese Wii's are other than the language but as they are both NTSC I'd give it a go.

Japan uses NTSC. If you have a Wii disc that's from somewhere like Europe but you have an American Wii,you can use Starfall and make your Wii region-less allowing games of any region playable o your Wii.

Pretty simple, just search around. All you need to do is have the homebrew channel and the wad manager app. But the CIOS install on SD card run it. Then download backup launcher wad. Google it. Then just run WAD manager and install it. :) After that all you need is a wii ISO. look for the wii CIOS dumper it dumps through wifi to computer. Download computer program for free off net called IMG burn. Click burn image file, change burn speed to 4x. And there you go :) much simpler than it sounds. :)

The wad manager installs and can unistall (Depending on what version manager and who made it) wad files most of which are channels or Virtual Console games. Using the wad manager here installs the backup launcher channel that appears in your wii menu like the shopping channel would.

yea cios dumper is best if you don't have one of the lg DVD drives. Downloaded games from torrents work aswell :) but use regionfrii ( computer program) to confirm it's the right region. Then burn with IMGburn at the burn speed of 4x
