The Red Wings organization is a classy bunch. I was at the Vancouver game when they congratulated Bertuzzi for 1,000 games. They bring the family of the player out with the family because they understand the importance of the support. Mr. Ilitch is a great owner when it comes to taking care of the players and coaches.There are other owners who would congratulate the player without even considering the family. Then to have Draper bring out flowers for Ozzie's wife is the ultimate class act.

@TheNewtriciousNick - I sure hope so. I don't know if it will be immediate, but maybe a few years down the road rather. The fact that he made his name in Detroit, got shafted with the arrival of Hasek, and then swallowed some pride to come back as Hasek's backup and came through in the clutch during the 2008 playoffs is what cemented his legacy in Detroit. When he won in 1998, everyone said they won the cup despite having him, yet he shut out Dallas to close out that series and swept Philly!!
