@hellorocello There have always been African Americans in the entertainment industry. Diverse doesn't mean they have to lose class or movie star charm. It's like society as a whole has lost its standards. I guess I'm old fashioned.. Even though I'm 16. And I def don't think stars back then were ordinary. They were actually very diverse. There were Italians, Germans, Brits, Spaniards, Russians and many more nationalities. I'd give up the stars we have now for the ones back then any day.

Brilliantly done. Although I'd like to see Gregory Peck up there, but maybe that's just because I want to marry him so much. Really good job though, some adorable pictures of James Dean and of Marilyn Monroe, and as always I think Marlon Brando is superbly fit. I don't know if I can pick a favourite. Maybe Cary Grant. Gah, I love them all too much.

Really nice! Ginger and Doug Jr. did an obscure-pic called, I think,"Having Wonderful Time" for RKO. Doubtless, this comes from that. Particularly loved the pix of Carole Lombard(mugging) and Judy Garland and Gene Kelly from "Summer Stock"--very hot!
