This is outrageous. It only indicates there was a problem with the screening process of the state that issued the permit. They would have had a gun, regardless of permit status. When I was applying for my permit, a sheriff's deputy walked in and congratulated me and others in the waiting room. He put his hand on my shoulder and told us that everyone was safer because of citizens like us. He said *Thank You* to all of us for helping them keep our area a safer place.

CCW holders on an average are more law abiding than any other group of people. There are over 300,000 CCW holders in Tennessee and less than 1% comitt crimes sever enough to loose their permit. CCW holders are better citizens than most non CCW holders, that's a fact according to FBI and state records. My father was a police officer for many years. Police officers wouldn't be shot by CCW holders if the police weren't either busting into the wrong house or doing something else illegal or stupid. This is outrageous. It only indicates there was a problem with the screening process of the state that issued the permit. They would have had a gun, regardless of permit status. When I was applying for my permit, a sheriff's deputy walked in and congratulated me and others in the waiting room. He put his hand on my shoulder and told us that everyone was safer because of citizens like us. He said *Thank You* to all of us for helping them keep our area a safer place.

CCW holders on an average are more law abiding than any other group of people. There are over 300,000 CCW holders in Tennessee and less than 1% comitt crimes sever enough to loose their permit. CCW holders are better citizens than most non CCW holders, that's a fact according to FBI and state records. Nobody ever said that a few people with carry permits weren't going to go sour and maybe shoot somebody. Now let's compare these 7 to those that have killed cops with illegal guns. I don't even need to look that statistic up...it's a lot more. The point of the carry permit is to let honest, law abiding citizens to carry guns around. I have no problem with a person pointing out that a few CCW holders have committed murder, be that of LEO's or not. We are all human beings and not without sin. The problem I have with such a video is the implicit implication that CCW holders are no different than the average population when it comes to shooting LEO's. I would bet that the % of CCW holders committing crimes and/or shooting LEO's is a very small % of the overall number of holders.

I support law enforcement, personally, but we ALL know if WE were to even accidentally shoot a cop WE would get life or even a death penalty and if we ever did get out the cops would make our lives a living hell.
Cops, on the other hand, rarely correct their own 'brothers' even when they know they have done something wrong.
I spend a lot of time trying to not dislike cops because I know some many good ones, but sometimes it does get pretty hard to ignore the shit.
