Joseph Shabalala created a masterpiece in LadySmith Black Mambazo. I remember watching them with Paul Simon in the 80's. The were magificent then, and they haven't changed a bit. The most beautiful music in the world!

OMG, I have freakin loved them since I was a little girl in dance class with only an acapella tape dubbed for me by one of my dance teachers. Didn't know who they were back then, but so grateful that I "discovered" them again in my early 20's. I saw this show on PBS in 2007, but didn't know if it was merely a rerun or new; how old is this clip, please someone? Thanks :)

I have just seen and heard them on 'Cassics TV' in U.K. they were singing 'World in Union'. And that was great too.

The lead singer reminds me of the Nyasaland singers who workedin Zimbabwe in the 1940s, and brought back my youth to me. Wonderful sound!
