At first you think, as Finn, this must be a joke, but KYPCK, or Kursk in the latin alphabet, is a good Finnish band, they they take important historical events that aren't much talked about, and talk about them in a sincere way. Their style isn't anything new in the Finnish scene, but their take and the fact that they sing in Russian instead of English, Finnish or Swedish, is commendable.

It's nice to see that Russians really understand and appreciate this band, being Finns but singing in Russian about Russian tragic events like Stalingrad and year 1917 having fake AK 47's on stage and so on. Music brings nations together. I'm glad to see as a Finn that younger generation have left behind all those dark memories of 2.World War, Cold War, hatred and prejudice between our countries.

Это наш сингл 1917. У сюжета клипа не много общего с песней. Скорее это предположение, что в действительности случилось с главным героем композиции, какова была его судьба. Эта песня о прадедушке Хиили (барабанщик группы), который был милиционером в дореволюционном Санки-Петербурге. Он сбежал в Финляндию вместе с семьей, а потом уехал в Америку, попытаться заработать денег для детей, но с того момента он пропал и никто не знает, что с ним случилось. I must add that music and amazing Russian language just build up feel and atmosphere.
