I now refer to the symbol that Prince once changed his name to as "that funny looking thing." Maybe that's what the media should have dubbed him instead of "the artist formerly known as Prince." Or maybe they should've called him "The artist formerly known as Prince, now known as that funny looking thing."

I think I remember this somewhat. Sesame Street used to put on a lot of cartoons featuring two people squabbling about details while discussing a letter. 'J' is the other one I remember most. One quick question: 1. Who does the voice of the man with the mustache? Sounds like the 'voice' in 'Do You Know What Backwards Means?' (e.g. 'We'll show you what backwards means!') Also, 'How do you do that?' 'Do What?' also appears in the 'backwards' clip.

At last I finally found out that Jim Thurman was the one who provided the "grumpy old man" voice that I heard in various kids shows. Unfortunately, I also found out that Thurman had passed away recently. :(

He was a prolific guy, who voice-acted and wrote for tons of different shows: Sesame Street, Electric Company, Roger Ramjet, Square One, Fat Albert, and much more.
