You know, I found it fascinating that you chose this song for Castiel, because I've always thought of it as the Aziraphale song (lol, yeah, I have random Neil Gaiman moments). There's just something angelic about it, isn't there? Warm and nostalgic and... distant, somehow, but a loving distance, as of a tender gaze upon something (or someone) much-loved.
