nice stuff man. hey, i see you do a lot of whistles, quick question, is there a big difference in performance between the benzoates and the salicylate?

The salicylate is a little more powerful and a slightly sharper sound, but the pot benze is not far behind it. The Sod Benze is noticably weaker than the salicylate and a totally different sound, it has a very raspy sound.

i noticed that there was a long trail. in your comment you stated that it was simply 70/30 Whistle sylicate. did you use perchlorate or chlorate, and did you add ti, if so how much and what side?

NO KNO3, nitrate does NOT work in whistle comps. I have made a similar mix though, standard BP with Salicylate subbed in for the charcoal. It flew with good power and was very quiet. Salicylate is a Sodium salt.

Thanks, I think it's the TS5000 but I'm not sure off the top of my head. The glitter is based on Purrington 47 gold glitter with a slightly different metallic component. I used 325 mesh spherical aluminum instead of the 12-14 micron atomized.
