hey dude, I'm buying one of those but I need to know little more of them. I play sologuitar in a band and was wondering how this guitar would sound with a Seymour Duncan Bridge pickup and with a Ts-9 tubescreamer. (it's okay if you don't know). Also I was wondering if you've had any technical problems with it? Cheers!
hey, im seriously thinking about buying this stunning guitar, would it cope with some seriously heavy distortion? say, like superjoint ritual/eyehategod kinda stuff?
@woody5419 Yeah, totally. It's got a nice distortion sound to it. Doesn't feed back to much. You can play some pretty heavy drop D stuff with some nice distortion.
@woody5419 considering it's got humbuckers, it should cope with distortion just as well as a les paul. but I've heard that some of the lower end gretsch have bad humbuckers in them... but if you pop in some P-90's or something like that, it should hold up fine.
@woody5419 No no no no this is not a guitar for metal, at all. If your looking for metal you may want to swap out the pickups for something more suited for metal.
Hi I speak spanish but i have and answer to you whats is the configuration of the berhinger and the guitar becaose i hace the same things the berhinger gmx212 ant the gretsh electromagnetic if you yan tell me the configuration i am join to be so happy thanks
Hey, Can you Help? I'm thinkin on buying this guitar, but I dont know if it fits my style, can you enter to myspace com /themoonpeople00, listen the tracks and tell me what do you think? Should I buy it? Thanks, please answer before he sell the guitar to anyone else :D
yo frets99 i have a prob with my guitar. It is the exact one you have. I have problems with it going out of tune after i use my bigsby. Do u have any advice?

It'd sound like a Duncan bridge pickup through a Ts-9 tubescreamer =P But really, it'd probably sound more like a Gibson than a Gretsch.

is it a leightweight guitar? confortable to play?
BeniB1991 2 years ago
It's chambered. Not as heavy as a Les Paul for instance. I find it easy to play weight wise.

I need advice.
I like big crunchy overdriven sound
I heard hollowbody gretsch doN,t go too well with overdrive.
What do you think?
Psychoska777 2 years ago
The pups in this guitar won't do that easily. They are low output.
My Ibanez semi hollow does kick into crunchy OD pretty easily.
frets99 2 years ago
Sounds good, mate. I'm liking these guitars. Would you recommend it?
tenshopscontest 2 years ago
Yes I would. I think this is a terrific guitar. Overall fit and finish is excellent. Great playabily with a sweet tone.
