there is actually 4 composition, the first kaida is by the great keramatullah khan, the second is a composition by Ahed jan thirakwa, the chakardar at 3:31 is his very own composition i can't stop listening to ittt.. and the final composition is another one by Keramatullah khan...this guy is one of my favorite tabla players, his versatility is out of this world simular to anindo chatterjee...
That index finger thing - I've seen Ahmad jan Thirakwa (farrukhabad) doing this. I think a lot of tabla players inherit little nuances of his, for instance flicking the kinar of the bayan with the nail of the index finger. Whatever - Shubhankers left hand is amazing - very strong and sweet
He is mainly from the Farukhabad gharana via Shri Sunil Kumar Banerjee, Preetimoy Goswami, and Shri Swapan Shiva. However, he also learned from Sri Manik Das of the Benares Gharana and probably from the Punjab, Delhi and Lucknow gharanas too. His foundation is definitely Farukhabad though.
composition recited at 3:34 is gorgeous. the na-na-na-na-dha is amazingly hard to play at that speed.

1st qaida is by Ustad Habibuddin Khan, as he says, or it might be the famous Ajrara composition known to call pigeons with the GeTak GeTak sound
