with a good rider it will, let me explain

the 144sx makes about 40bhp at the wheel but it is mostly in one place whereas the crf250 has about 32bhp but it is spread out over the rev range more so with a better rider the 144sx will beat the crf250 but with a less talented rider the crf will win, it's all about keeping the revs where the power is. type in 144sx at chatteris on youtube and you'll see that the 144sx beats all the 250's. also remember that the 144sx is much much cheaper to maintain

I think you got it right here...but am fairly sure the 144sx would simply DESTROY any 250F anyehere any time with 2 avearge riders - You are right about needing a bit more skill / courage to get a 2 stroke on song.

i was wondering when the KTMs were gunna go EFI... i have a 250sxf 08.... hope to sell here for the 2010 model 250... how did u find that out??? its about time ktm went back to the drawing board.. the 07 08 09 were all the same practically

It's all over the web mate, google it, there are doubts about it for 2010 due to both development and economical problems. Mainly because they did fuk all to 09's apart from add loads of sxs parts and jack up the price, so no one wanted them and now they have limited funds after the development of the X Bow the quads and the new road bikes, MX has sort of become secondary to KTM. But anyway they are "supposed" to be receiving perimeter frames and EFI along with linkage suspension on the rear.
