I was raised to ride Harleys and when it came time to get a bike of my own I bought a FZR600. I figured if I dropped a Harley I would die inside, and a sportbike would not offend too many Harley riders. I fell in love with the performance of that FZR. From that I realized that anyone on any two wheels is a fellow brother of the road.

From a "power" standpoint (i.e. "horsepower"), they are mediocre, but from a "torque" standpoint, they are respectable. I have both a Harley and a sportbike and even though the sportbike is significantly faster than the Harley, I ride the Harley quite a bit more than the sportbike. I have a 2006 FLHP-I and with the cop seat, it is the most comfortable bike that I have *ever* rode.
