  • This is a good arrangement, it sounds quite easy to play, though. I think it'd be better if it was just a tad faster. Otherwise, it's really good:)

  • @MostRockinGirl This is way old lol I should maybe take this down, I have much better mario arrangements now. Check out my page for my mario medley which has a lot more songs in it

  • @MrTrent Don't take it down haha but I'll look and see your newer ones:)

  • @MostRockinGirl haha okay. And thanks for the kind words sweetie =)

  • Is it possible to get the sheet music for this?

  • Is it possible to get the sheet music for this?

  • I see you based it mostly off of Eminence huh? Very nice. Well done.

  • im just like sitting here rockin out

  • very sweet suite

  • love the underworld part

  • WOW.

  • where can i get the sheet music for this

  • woah... dude...

  • very good

  • Dude that was amazing! Honestly.

  • Could you do a Super Mario Galaxy concert band arrangement? I'd love to see how you would make it.

  • I'm proud to announce that I am currently wrapping up an arrangement of Gusty Gateway. Its going to for now its part of a Mario suite from its start ending with the most current of my favorite themes.

  • Great job actually ;D

Just a bit about your instrumentation

There is rarely two oboes in a concert band. Some don't even have one, like mine haha. Also two bassoons are uncommon

And most often there is one tenor sax, but each writer calls for different things i guess, just depending on whether the band has two tenors. mine has four, i can't complain haha

Also is four percussion parts completely neccessary? doesn't matter too much but you could make it into three

Other than that good job =]

  • The obs and Bs aren't absolutely neccesary though they are a great addition. The thing that makes the Bs a 2 part instruemnt is that certain parts are an octave apart.

One of the percussion parts are a person on a stationary drum set while the others take on various instruments

  • Ah okay, fair enough. Just as i said it's uncommon lol. But again different composers call for different things so

Having such an arrangement calls for a large variety of instruments so it's understandable. I've always tried to keep it small as possible, to the instrumentation i've found to be most "professional" and common: First: Bass/Snare/similar (or a kit), Second: Cymbals/Similar, Third: Mallets, anything else

But again good job, what i'm saying isn't neccesary just an observation =]

  • actually my band has 2 oboes and 3 bassoons (but i switch between them so i guess theres only 1 oboe on some songs.) but oboe is getting alot more common :D
