I also have the MCP combo, do you find that the lcd digits "jump around" when setting HDG and ALT in the autopilot when in flight ?.......or is mine possibly faulty ?

I had 2 controls down and had to take the unit apart to fix it. The workmanship is not the greatest and yes some of the controls do jump a bit.

do u use the external power suply ? i read that the usb only cannot handle the power ...

I just use the usb , If you have usb 2.0 then all is good.

Can the MCP be tuned in via FSUIPC, as it sounds as if the vrinsight driver is not that good?

It is a FSUIPC interface - the interface is not perfect but flyable. Adds a bit of spice to know you may have to hand fly at any time.

Reasonably OK - Some quality control glitches but excellent product support.

In LNAV heading mode disabled and controls a little fluffy but on the whole good value.

do you interact directly via the MCP knobs and buttons... with the PMDG?

The VRINSIGHT youtube video is clear about the interaction with the LevelD, but what about the PMDG interaction?

The PDMG interaction is reasonably OK - not perfect but workable. Good for simulating control failures that do happen now and then requiring manual flying of the plane

If in LNAV mode then Heading mode should be disabled.
