  • The first plane was a 777, you can tell because if the bladed tail

  • @FSXkid11 No, the first plane that took off was a 767 because the back wheels had 2 rows of tires. The second plane was a 777 because it had 3 rows of tires

  • @BabyBang17datruth i meant to say 767, I swear lol

  • nice rolls royce sounds - lookup Deta's fleet online

  • I flew the 777 from Paris to Atlanta and it is a sweet bird.

  • @Alachua03 what airline? i will be flying a continenental (now united i guess...) to israel, and it will be a 777. i have never flown in a 777 and i was wondering if they r better than other boeings.

  • @aaronrodgers77 It was a Delta Triple 7 from Paris to Atlanta (8 hours 35 minutes) I started flying as a teen in the sixties (L-188 Lockheed electra). I have flown all the Boeing Planes, 707, 720B, 727, 737, 757, 767, 747-100,200,300,400 and the 777. I think I like those 747's best.

  • @aaronrodgers77 it depends on the airline. Cathay Pacific is really nice to fly with their B777's but on United there are a couple of confiigurations you could be on. It all depends on the aircraft.

  • OMFG Im so afraid of flighing but i want to be a Flight attendant

  • vacanisimo el triplesiete me gusta mucho

  • I do a flight systems check for Delta airlines 777,757,767,737, & MD-88 every day.

  • First aircraft FEATURED is a 777; first aircraft shown actually TAKING OFF was a 767; aircraft around 2:00 mark is 777.

  • If the 777 were a woman, it would have had the largest breasts on the block....

  • @Athikhun those are Rolls-Royce engines because they arent as big as the fuselage and the tail cone of the engines are smaller

  • 777 is transcontinental. From Switzerland to Malaysia. From Zürich to Kuala Lumpur. Great plane.

  • nice videos

  • Nice videos! I have never seen any Delta 777 T.T

    Regards from Spain!

  • @pootcacti05 Dude, relax. You probably fly X-Plane anyway.

  • Gotta love the sound of the triple seven engines.

  • thats the old livery...

  • Wat does it take to get in that position in the aviation world?

  • another way to figure out which is which if you know your boeings, listen to the engine sound.

  • Just to clarify for the newbies on here. The first plane that took off was a 767 because it had 4 tires on main gear assembly. The second plane was a 777 cause it has 6 tires on one main gear assembly. Also, 777 engine diameter is16 feet, much larger than the 767.

  • @Flyingfast79

The engines are around 7 foot in diameter :o)

  • @Flyingfast79 the first plane couldve also been a 757 or an A330

  • @Flyingfast79 13ft...,. not 16 ffs

  • yeah you're right.

  • Its definitely a 767. 777 has 3 rows of main wheels and bigger engines. 767 has 2 rows of main wheels.

  • You are wrong. Your knowledge of the plane is correct, but this plane has 3 rows of double wheels, so therefore it must be a 777-200ER. Not a 767.

  • The first plane seen and the third, I mean.

  • @a380rockerfan yep right

  • soory at 1st it hought it was a 767 were u ever on a 777 or 767

  • its a 767 cos a 777 has three wheels

  • It's actually a 777 - This is shown by the wheel config, you can see the wheels look like they are 'pointing up' whereas the 767 look like they are 'pointing down' :) Also 767 has less wheels :)

  • I work at Manchester Airport...you very rarely see a Delta Airlines B777-200 it's usually a B767

  • klmnb cxc\zxnm\zxcvbn

  • when was this??

  • вчера

  • One of my fav aircrafts. So wonderful, old livery though.

  • why dont they just use the 777LRs on that route and then they wouldnt have that problem

  • back then they didnt have LRs and AFAIK fuelstops didnt happen theat often...

  • They are using the 777LR's now.

  • 777 has 9 seats in each row 767 has 7 in each ro plus 777 has more rows

  • too bad no atc on this video!

  • they look really porky ahah

    great aircraft!!!

  • whats the main diffrence in 777 and 767 ?and which one is better?

  • size and range the 777 is better in both

  • the first one is a 767?

  • yea

  • is wrote in 1:02

  • I thought that little british airways was going to get squished lol

  • The Rolls Royce fan is a bit smaller than the Pratt and GE90 plant. As a 777 pilot, the best way to tell the two apart is the pointed tailcone of the 777.

This is a fantastic aircraft to fly, notice the wings flex as the forces grow on takeoff, they can stretch as much as 12 feet.

  • You fly a very nice equipment sir...

  • Delta's 777s are PW correct?

  • 200ERs are RR and 200LRs are GE

  • Pay attention... there's a Delta 767 in the video, yes... but the main aircraft shown is a Delta 777

  • got to love those royls royce engines

  • whats the point of swearing all it proves is that you have a minimal vocabulary

  • wait...the 777's go transatlantic? i thought they went transpacific if they were going to asia...

  • they do both

  • it is a 777

  • isnt that a 767?? cuz the engine is way to small correct me if i am wrong.

  • Nope its a 777, look at the landing gear with 6 wheels on each rear gear compared to the 4 on the 767. I agree the engines do look small on this video though.

  • the 1st aircraft is 767 & the 2nd one is 777. Both are Delta & both of you are right.

  • i love this plane....... one of my faveroits

  • That is something we can both agree on.

Best of luck to both of us.

  • All true, when Date of Hire goes through, we will see how many of Delta's "senior" people get bumped back to F/O's.

  • I doubt ANY senior people will be bumped to FO. If date of hire went thru, which I highly doubt, some junior CA's would surely be bumped. At any rate, I'm all for whatever gives us a more stable airline. I think your Asia presence and our European presence will make us a DOMINATING airline. And let's not forget the 20% pay raise (30% for NWA) over 4 years. As long as we don't have another US Air / America West fiasco I'm good with it.

  • Ill rephrase. Most NWA pilots have more years with the company of Northwest than Delta pilots have with Delta.

Its funny, at the Pilots Assistance form in Phoenix, We went on a break and Mark Interbickler announced

"Okay everyone, were going to take a quick break, Delta pilots I know your going to fill your coffee cups before the Northwest guys, so NWA people, you might want to stay seated for a little bit."

  • yes, glad you see it my way.

    have a good one.

  • Man. Maybe if these merger goes through Ill go to the 777, or maybe ill stick with the 75/76. Great aircraft, great video.

  • do you want the merger

if the merger happens does that mean that delta will have 747s or will they not use thos

well i hope you get to fly the 777

  • Well, the situation with Delta now is seniority. If it means date of hire seniority, then yes I do want the merger to go through. Most of the Delta pilots have been working for Delta less than 5 years! I have been working for Northwest for 10 years! Why is it that I should have less seniority to some guy flying at Delta for 4-5 years? I am not sure of the aircraft, but I would guess that the 747 would be kept, especially for Tokyo runs.

  • yea

that would be cool 747 in delta colors

  • wow those are some young pilots

i guess they are all highered from their regional airline you know well thier still not working for long time that funny

  • if combined, where would they use NWA's 787's?

Would they order 747-8's to replace the aging 747-400?

  • GASP

    i hope they get 748s and 787

o yea that would sooo be the real next gen airline

    that would rock

  • Delta started hiring in Feb '07. Since that time we hired 594 pilots. Prior to '07, Delta had not hired since 2001. We have over 7,300 pilots, of which, only 594 have less than 5 years with company. So how is it that "most" of Delta's pilots have been with the company less than 5 years?

  • What you don't mention is the guys in 2001 were furloughed til 2006, and delta gave them credit.

Bottom line, Delta pilots tried to screw us. We came to a joint contract agreement, but no accord was made on seniority? I wonder why? Could it be because you guys would be screwed?

  • Giving years of service credit to furloughed pilots is a good thing. DAL furloughed 400 pilots. 400 + 700 hired in 07/08 = 1,100. All others (over 6,200) have more than 5 years. Your statement"most Delta pilots have less than 5 years..." is false. Putting 400 NWA guys on top and 2,000 DAL guys at the bottom (and NWA isn't even the acquiring company) is shooting for the moon! Relative seniority is the best option. Let's see what happens in arbitration. Good luck to us all.

  • guys we all know which airline is better... delta is without a doubt much better thn nwa...

  • is that the first 777 for delta?

  • no. delta has one of the largest fleets

  • oh, thanks

  • Comment removed

  • No, this is N865DA, the sixth 777 for Delta.

  • When i started to watch this video it made me fell like i was on the plane i love delta because when i go to guayaquil ecuador in amerca i have to wait to the three hours in miami and on delta i go from, nc to alanta ga and in 6 hours on the plane i get to quito that is 1 hour away from guayaquil

  • Great video 5/5
