Scrap it, sounds like very bad diesel knock. engine will not last long like that I have seen faster ladas with 120 bhp

@micky2900 Its not a knock, diesels have a little higher compression ratio than your toyota prius.

@laport2 its diesel knock, pump injecting to much fuel causes knock that kills big ends the bore is over compressed with to much fuel, all that black smoke gives it away can do the same to any oil burner its not rocket science. PS I have been building engines for over 20 years competition and road use, oh and my car is mk 2 astra gte with high tune 426 multi valve v8 sat behind me 800 bhp Thats POWER

@micky2900 bullsh!!!!!!t, so tell me, this 800bhp V8 in the back of your mk2 Astra GTE, what gearbox is it running? Also which rear axle are you using? And which diff? How did you find making a linkage to the shifter? And how did you balance out all of that weight? If you're going to be a youtube troll and tell everyone about the engines you've been building for 20 years, make sure you're not playing with toy boats in your uploads. How about you prove this 'Astra build' by uploading a video?

Actually they launch in second, so the wheelspin is in 3rd.. in one of the videos is also makes a sjirp in the 3-->4 change
