  • Give yourself credit 99.9% of the people viewing could never build and fly a scratch built plane. Nice job I would suggest a little less wing angle called.dyhedral Too much makes the plane pitch up and down like a dolphin, a little makes it track well and fly straight. Very creative. Congratulations and keep building, flying and crashing it's how we all learn. Shadow

  • @SHADOW10621 this was the 5th plane which i made...... none of the previous model was able to be air-bone for more than 15 seconds....... ha ha......... hey after this i made many planes one of them is my own design and which you would not find any where...... and it flies great the link is

............ just watch the my other vedios.........

  • @SHADOW10621 m unable to post the link

just watch out "home-made ultra slow flyer hovering in sky without any control.....amazing...watch in HD" in my channel.........

  • Very cool. Where do you guys live?

  • @myironlungca right now m in mumbai (india)

  • That is great . Make sure you get video as I would like to see . You should do well .

  • I tried 3d at first now I am training on a wingdragon which is a 4 channel trainer which I find great but I cant fly much as the weather is very bad here in Ireland .Your flying ability is very good

  • @michaelrc1

i have participated in a 3d flying competion in january

    for which i m preparing !!!

  • I am new to rc myself but I read some where that when mounting a motor to point it slightly down and left when looking at front of plane When a motor is mounted straight the power causes the plane to rise and go left. I hope I remembered correctly as you can see from my videos I have control problems and I haven't had chance to try this method

  • u r true !!

as i have started in rc directly with 3d models i always used this method to mout the prop !!

but its really very difficult to control 3d planes !!

    i have crashed 5 such planes !!

so i thought to build a glider first without aelarons !!!

    it worked !!

now i will practice on this then going for 3d

i think off setting the motor in polyhydral wing dosent make big difference as, the plane itself currects its level !!!

  • you did realy well it is very hard to build a plane if what I built flew as good as that I would be very happy Also you have to off set the motor as this might cause lift and drag ? when you power up

  • actually m new in rc !!!!

dont know what do u mean by off set the motor !!!

what do u mean by theat ???

  • ok. I would recommend clearview rc flight simulator if you are looking for a cheap one. Its so far the best one for the price. I mean you have to pay 35$ for the license. FMS will only teach you the basic skills but with no precision. I mean Clear view has better graphics and reality.

  • what is your prop size? 7 or 6 inch? Hmm change that prop to a 9-4.7 slow fly prop. The flight will be smoother and slower

  • @jerryazhakathu

    at present it was 8-3.8

nd i have mini brushless motor

is is of 26 grams only

will it be able to produce sufficient torque for the 9-4.7 prop ???

i have two batt both 3s, one is 450mah nd other is 1800mah

i have used 450mah whis is only 46 garm battt

the other is heavy one !!

m planing to put the lighter batt for extra 300 just for its light weight

  • And its not the problem with the v shaped wings. Its called dihedral if you dont know. Almost all the trainer planes have dihedral wings so that it can auto correct itself.

  • @jerryazhakathu

m very new in this hobby !!

i have made 4 fomy nd depron planes nd without practicing on simulator i broke them all !!!

nw m parcticing on sim nd because of that i was able to fly this one

still i need a lot of practice!!

  • ok I now see an important thing. You have low wing loading or your planes wing is very narrow. Add 5 more inches of foam( regular stryrofoam) at the trailing edge or the backside of the wing. Correct your cg and it will fly good. Yes, I am from Kerala and currently residing in Chicago. If you get a chance try to get a computer simulator software so you can learn faster and better.

  • @jerryazhakathu

i have FMS nd practicing on that !!!

but can u suggest me any other good simulator !!!

  • Hi, I see it. Well usually the cg is 9-15 cm below the leading edge of the wing or the from the front side. Try to balance the wing with your fingers around 9-15 cm and see the plane is balanced or not. If the plane fall backwards move the battery forward or vice versa. The plane should glide when you bring the rpm down. try to trim your control surfaces too

  • @jerryazhakathu

at present that plane is in pieces .... lol

m going to make 3d plane extra 300

will carefully take care of cg !!!

  • Bro try to change the CG forward.. Its tail heavy. Hope that helps :)

  • @jerryazhakathu

dude when ever i give throttle the nose goes up very fast nd when ever i cut down the throttle completely then the plane just falls quickly !!!!

just look carefully the vedio !!!

during last moments i have stoppend the propultion nd look the plane falls like a stone !!!

it was the elevator preventing that !!!

i think this problem is with the V- shaped wings !

as the cg lies far below the line joining the end of the two wings !!!

    m i right ?

  • nice work buddy, lage raho!

  • PLEASE PAY ATTENSION FROM 8th SECOND TO 12 SECOND !!!
