  • i miss it, Nellis AFB

  • what is red flag? isn't this a F15 fighter?

  • Epic!!!!!!! Just amazinggggggggggggg!!!

  • Is this on Cheyenne road?

  • Rage quit.

  • BFD

  • i wonder overall how hard it is to fly a jet haha

  • At 3:50 notice the F-117 pilot giving the salute singal. Is a lateral movement of wings up and down. If i am wrong its just a recovering pilot move. LOL But actually what i say about the salute signal its true.

  • uhh chu are taking too much, haha sounded arab

  • :( bye bye f-117

  • Oh i see this was in 2006. I was wondering why they keep using the F-117 if is was actually retired.

  • Tornado at Nellis AFB?Why?

  • Germany pilots also participate in the event

  • Outstanding Jobs! Go up north and get some u.f.o. video.

  • man those were some tear dropping shots of the stealth,i miss it :(

  • Wow the tornadoes at the are hauling ass.

Gives me the chills, nice video.

  • Yes, at 13.35 it's a T-38 Talon. It's a ligthweight fighterjet wich isn't only in use for training. Original this plane is build for interception.

    Nice video!!

  • So this is where it all started Richard? :)

  • the stealths look really un-aerodynamis, they don't look like they should be in the air, they look bloody cool though.

  • they really shoudlnt be lol. they are actually aerodynamically unstable. only the computer adjustments keep em in the air.

  • WOW! so if the computer wasn't there, it'd just drop out of the sky?

  • is that a t-38 at 13:35

  • F-117's Still one of my favorite jets!!!

  • your dad doesn't have a very steady hand

  • ur sooo lucky to live near the base i would do anything to go there

  • We get KC-135s over our house all the time and there extremely low.

  • where do u live

  • You're gonna have to take me and my dad to one of these. Lol.

  • Man... F-117 is old, is outdated, is retired... but its BEAUTYFUL!!!

  • F-111 looks like the B-1 is it in he same family???

  • I guess that depends on what your definition of "is" is. It's the B-1's step-mother's first husband's cousin (twice removed)......but I've recently heard rumors that's not true. Hope that helps.

  • lmao

    thx though

  • I was a crewchief on the F-111D, during Vietnam. I was stationed at Cannon AFB, NM., and was at Tikli AFB in Thailand during the war. The F-111 was made by General Dynamics. It was the first swing wing, mach 1 aircraft in the Air Force inventory. It had GFR (Ground Following Radar), and was sent on Bombing Missions the F-4 Phantom, and F-105 Thunderchief couldn't do. The F-111D was also sent to Bomb Mohamar Khadafi in Libya by Ronald Regan. It was a very special aircraft, not related/B-1.

  • nice thanks for the heads up

    and thank you for serving

    thank you very much serving

    SALUTE!!!

  • My pleasure. Uncle Sam came calling 3 days out of high school. Said we have a party you're invited to.. Vietnam. At Cannon we had 4 Squadrons of F-111D's. "The 522nd Fireballs", "The 523rd Crusaders", "The 524th Hounds of Heaven" (my Squadron), and last, "The 428th Buccaneers". We were in the 8th Air Force, 27th Tactical Air Command. Lot's of good memories. The F-111 was a remarkable aircraft, could carry one hell of a bomb load, and was the First Military Fighter/Bomber with GFR.

  • I was a avionics spec. on F111D's at Cannon from 1979 to 1984 in the 523FS Left there and worked F117A form 1984 to 1989

  • Cool! This would be the last Red Flag with the F-117s would it not?

  • no.

  • oooooooooooooooo ok thanks dude

  • that last jet was going fast

  • im sure that u r going to do this this year right

  • What shoot something like this again? Of course, but its actually not like this anymore. Usually they use RWY3 which sucks because the lighting is horrible when they leave. This only happened because of the winds. If they leave on RWY3, I don't usually shoot it. Maybe this flag will be good?

  • At 5:15 what were those?

  • KC-10 with about 7-8 F-16's.

  • dude that was a sick video. its like 19 minutes of heaven

  • Nice video and info, dude, salutes, ..... ....

  • Those planes were supposed to go on a bombing run. But luckily for those boys the planes forgot their munitions.

  • I wish I had the money those planes cost..lol

  • If that was the case, you can hire Bill Gates as your butler.

  • 20 minutes?! omg. wtf.

  • Oh but I wasn't talking about the nighthawk (F-117) I was talking about the F-111 Aardvark and I thought it was retired even before 2006 because they used to have them at Cannon AFB which is right near where I live.

  • Anyone who knows just hit me up sometime, it will be much appreciated.

  • no problem.. they left service a little while after this.

  • Thanks again Urban it's to bad though the F-111's proved they could do some damage in Desert Storm but hey what can you do, times change and they just got to expensive.

  • Those F111's that you saw were from Sweden or some Country from SAmerica I think, we sold those I believe

  • Yeah I thought we did Surf. We sold some to Australia to I believe.

  • The Aussies have 26 of the F-111C and G models and also the RF-111C..They're gonna retire 2010-2014

  • The Aussies have 26 of the F-111C and G models and also the RF-111C..They're gonna retire 2010-2014

  • oops

  • Kickass it's nice to hear there are still some in service. I love the F-111's.

  • Me too, it's quite a distinctive looking plane..also when the pilots had to eject (sitting side by side)The front would pop off the rest of the plane and become an escape capsule:D It's too bad the F-111 wasnt able to perform the role it was intended to do..be a fighter.

  • Yeah they just built it way to heavy to be an effective fighter. Oh but that is interesting about the "escape capsule" I'd never even heard about that before.

  • oh my mistake

  • In this vid youll also see allied forces from the UK, France and Sweden. They take part in Red flag exercises once a year and nellis has allied planes on our soil on a daily basis 365 24/7 training together EVERYDAY

  • USA IS A BEAST!!! Look how much firepower we have in the air!!! Look how fast we put those birds in the sky, look at the sheer numbers!!! USA KEEPS EM COMIN

  • Hey I thought for sure the F-111 had been retired. What's the deal!??

  • this was in 2006

  • Oh ok thanks for clearing that up urban.

  • the nighthawk is not exactly retired, because of some budget cuts they just parked em and took em off active duty, those planes are practically brand new still, we'll use em if we need em

  • Very very true Surfer22z. Most people do not understand that "retired" actually meens they will keep most of them in mothballs that can be put back into service within 8 days.

  • the refueling aircraft and awacs fly more than likly the most flights.

  • and one other thing, the nimrod was just way too cool

  • man, I live right next to MacDill and we get this a lot, infact I gave up on filming a while ago....too much trafic

  • Cooooooooool !!!!!!!

  • Ok im an idiot ;) but what exactly is the "Red Flag Operations"?

  • Have you been to dreamlandresort. Its a web site but I cant post it here since it wont let me. It has great info on it, and its where I learned everything about red flag. Try it if you havent.

  • It is the USAF version of the navy's top gun. Practicing air to air and air to ground combat and being judged on it, including ground crews. Sorta

  • redflag is exercises.. when the advisers set up different scenarios each jet must face and actually do what your told. this is why the f-22 has so many kill ratio. everything is tipped in their favor.

  • Being "tipped" to the existence of an F-22 in your battlespace is a HUGE advantage for the Eagle and Falcon drivers. The Raptor is THAT good. Normally, they wouldn't even know the F-22 is bearing down on them. Nice try.

  • fuck you

  • that looks like its on nellis blvd, by the PT's Pub, back in the day when i was in high school, i would take dates out by where the speedway is now and sit in the desert and watch the jets take off from nellis.. ahh the good old days.. anyways.. great vid..

  • Its actually on Cheyenne Ave. But PT's isnt too far from here. Glad you liked the video.

  • Where exactly are you in relation to the base what street or location ???

  • Its about half a mile from the threshold on Cheyenne St. If you need anymore info feel free and ask.

  • how did u ge ta 19min video on youtube? lol i just get up to 11 mins

  • It might be because this is on low quality other than that, I really have no idea.

  • Producerthingys can have longer videos, but I guess it may be because it was posted so long time ago aswell? Maybe they didn't had the limit back then (which are there from stoping posts of tv series.)

  • k thanks

  • nvm i didnt think tht was a vulcan im not sure about british bombers

  • Its a Nimrod

  • 8:40 a Vulcan

  • SgtGrant23 the aircraft at 8:40 is a NIMROD anti-submarine warfare jet. The Vulcan looks like a big bat wing with a vertical tail in the back.

  • actually mate you are also wrong. the aircraft at 8.40 is like you said, a Nimrod, however it is the Nimrod R.1 variant whose role is reccon. the MR.2 variant is the anti submarine version. Although at least u didnt think it was a vulcan lol

  • Ohhhh no! Because not only was I always into jets and reading books on them, but when I was stationed at Hahn AFB in Germany back in 1982, I saw one of those babies up close, and also when it took off! A Vulcan bomber is UNIQUE! I always described it as a bat to people who never saw one!

  • Don't worry sufer21z your own government is working very hard to disolve our own National sovereignty. I appreciate your patriotism but very soon a "North American Union" reality will be in your face. Also, learn how "commies" or rather leftists have shaped our culture in the last forty years and who was behind it. There is a war to be fought right here on our soil now!

  • you couldn't have said it better

  • Sorry pal but the NAU will never happen. Millions of second amendment AMERICANS will see to it!

  • Great, I'll see you in the trenches. Pass the ammo and spread the word.

  • damn how many planes and stealth fighters do they need??!!!!!??

  • haha thats what i was thinkng

  • They need as many as they can get to keep the peace in the majority of the world...

  • Great vid mate, with we had exercises of that size over here in the UK. Still, at least we're in the USA for these to defend our reputation. ;)

  • And the winner is the Mirage 2000-5

  • i think those F117 at around 4 minutes waved at you :)

  • Brings back memories of being with the 355TH

    TFW.

  • awesome stuff mate!!!!!!!! thanks for posting

  • awesome video! what is the name of the road you were on when took this awesome video, I need to go there myself. thank you for posting.

  • This is Cheyenne St just east of Las Vegas BLVD. If you still dont know where these places are then use google earth and type Nellis AFB, find Cheyenne and the LVspeedway.

  • 2 thumbs up!

  • jeasus i wouldnt like to c that if i was a taliban lol

  • lol hehe lalalalallalaalla missle sound wooooooooooooooooooooo boooom hehe taliban zero air force 4 lol

  • lol but taliban get fornt row seats to greatest show ever hehe kidding

  • goood video i am a cadet at nellis AFB airman 1 class fun stuff

  • haha woah thats alot of planes taking off!

  • ya this stuff really turns me on

  • The F-117's true speed is still classified as is the B-2 Bombers.

  • By the way, is there any reason there are no A-10 Warthogs?

  • The A-10s left a few days after this.

  • Unbelievable video!!! One after the other again and again! Wow I wish i could have been there! The F-117 is much more jet-like and noisy than I would have expected! Sounds more like an F-15 than a Learjet, say, which is interesting because it is not supersonic or anything.

  • yea i was about to say they can get in big trouble posting videos on base but i haven't lived there for 12 yrs so i forgot the good spots. keep the videos up there good to see though.

  • is this off base or on base?I had a nighthawk fly about 20ft above me couple times while delivering age equipment

  • No this is off the base

  • Well done, betting the two F-111 are ours from downunder. Thanks.

  • dammmm this brings back memories of being stationed at Davis-Monthan AFB back in the early 80s. Thank you so much for posting this video! I loaded many munitions onto A-10 Warthogs back in the day! Hello Yeager! Hello McCurtain! Hello Fleming! Hello Valdez!

  • a plane spotters dream!!! lol. I wanna go

  • I love the sound of jets passing over-head.

  • froom italy tornado it's magic and EFA 2000

  • Good vid, most of the time with vids like this you get out of foucus shots of tail fins but that was really well filmed with some interesting aircraft

  • french RAFALE is unbeaten for the moment

  • BS! F-22 killed it!

  • A Nimrod? Russian??? Really liked the vid though. Glad I checked.

  • just to let you know its a tornado GR4 not GR7, the GR7 is a harrier ;)

  • great work! cant wait to go for my first trip to Nellis..I am a 1N051....for those that dont know..Intel analyst. Air Force Nat Guard.

  • great vids i was one of the guys in the F16

  • seriously?

  • yeh Maj. T. Lee 64th Aggressor Squadron

  • thanks for being in a volunteer army Major, just curious if you knew what business navy planes have doing spraying exotic weapons on the populace & tourists of Las Vegas? New Year's Eve early morning there were at least 50 contrail/chemtrails marking an X over the south end of the LV Blvd.

  • How did the Canadian's do in the F-18's?
