Supertramp is to the 70's as Survivor is to the 80's... two fantastic melodic rock bands that are now as extinct as good music is in the largest part of the 21st century. The world didn't end in the year 2000, good music did! No wonder Bon Jovi, AC/DC and U2 were the highest grossing tours in 2010, they keep the 80's and 90's alive!

Vital Signs may be one of the greatest albums that came out of that time, and thats says a lot because of how great that era of music was. i wish i had been alive when this kind of music was being made.

From VITAL SIGNS LP/CD is one of their best a must have for a music lover. Good real life type lyrics performed very professionally, here and in the studio.

FOR ME, I had to have it when I first heard their material on the radio I think it was released in 84 or 85...I remember the trauma of a bad relationship during that period. :).She's Gone, Long Gone, thank you Jesus.:) However this was very good for the spirit in such times.Good Times Bad Times =better times KEEP THE FAITH.

Overall...it's the best song they ever had...it's heavy...but pretty enough that girls would like it....Frankie is never mentioned in any polls....and he's probably better than Van Halen, Vai, and Malmsteen. Droubay said this was the best album, best production, Nevison!!!!

Goosebumps listening to this voice... I sold most of my AOR albums a few years ago but kept all Toto and Survivor CDs... Survivor will always be on of the best groups ever. Lyrics to die for and melodies that shatter the heart. God bless these guys for their music.

Survivor open for REO Speedwagon in the mid 80's and it was ludicrous that REO was the headliner...Survivor mopped up the stage with them! There was no way REO could follow that!
