@jcp61874 As long as Tinker was the last man on the end of the line he would have been an eligible receiver. All Coach Taylor had to do was clear this with the refs prior to game.
While I love FNL as much as anybody I gotta call BS on that pass to Tinker. It is illegal to pass to offensive lineman due to them being ineligible receivers. And Coach Taylor would/should have known that and wouldn't have to say, "let's find out". Even though its tv--that kind of thing grates given that FNL defines itself by being so close to reality as possible. Oh well.
Abolutely love this show's storylines and it's rich characters...from Jason Street to Matt Saracen to Vince Howard...even Billy Riggins, Tim Riggins, Landry/"Lance" and can we forget Smash Williams? Coach Taylor is the man. CLEAR EYES! FULL HEARTS!
I can't believe that next season will be the last season. The network reaaly fucked this one up! I hope this show will get picked up someplace else and continues on.
