1) If the SUV driver honestly didn't notice her approaching, he should put his car in a box and give it back to the shop. You need to be aware of what is all around you.

2) If I ever see someone doing this (driving with lights off in order to be "cool"), I'd smack them upside the head repeatedly. Lights aren't always for seeing - they're for other motorists to SEE YOU as well!

well, if u activate that "intelligent cruise control", and u drive behind somebody. he stops to slow down for a traffic light and your car automatically does that too. well, if he drives to the right, or changes the lane, the car accelerates automatically to your cruising speed?! well, that could be a problem, if the traffic light would be still red and u were cruising with 140 km/h. :D hahaha

@CIKO32123 In Europe, red light means stop. You are not allowed to make a right turn when the light is red. So its not really a problem. Only Americans have this very weird rule that you are allowed to make a right turn on red lights :)

@MrClrg okay, im from germany, that's why i'm am wondering. imagine, ur cruisecontrol is at 140km/h... the car in front of you stops. so your car stops too. now the light to turn right get green, but not the light drive straight away. NOW, your car still wants to drive 140km/h. now that nobody is in front of you, your car automatically starts accelerating on a red light. :) :D pretty weird.

@MrClrg und was ist mit der überfahrt von bundesstrassen in ein stadtgebiet? da ist gerne mal dierekt hinter der 100er bzw. 80er zone eine ampel, die den verkehr einer kreuzung dierekt hinter dem ortsschild regelt. ?! tya. :) ich kann dir sogar beispiele geben. du wirst diese orte aber ohnehin nicht kennen. von daher machts keinen sinn. :)
