If it was an Albéniz, Torroba or any other composser like that it would be of extreme bad taste to play a piece that fast, but since it's a Dyens' composition it actually worked very very well at that speed. One can see that the piece really tolerates this kind of variation.

Very good dynamics too, just have to work on some parts for it to sound clearer and it will be perfect.

This interpretation makes us think about what we can modify on the pieces we play, and yours was certainly a goal.

This IS fuoco... it sounds just as good as any other good performance of the movement.

Trust your ears, not your eyes. Same goes to all similar posts that speak of 'feeling', 'heart', 'emotion', 'life' and other overused terms - to the point of reaching total meaningless status already. Quit envying a player's personal approach to what constitutes a comfortable technique.
