I must say that i am DISGUSTED with the franchise, ever since 2000 the nba has been assisting us, we cheat our way to the finals and to a championship (2002). Stern killed the game i love and the team ive loved for 30 years and i truly believe that championship belonged to sacramento in 02. Sadly this game is no longer about basketball, its about ratings.
Seriously what is wrong with u? All the NBA teams are good in their own way. Unique playing style, unique players. The problem that made them look bad is the match up against all the other teams in the league. Example. OKC/NJN Young and Inexperienced. LAL/BOS/SAS Old and Experienced. I've been a fan of the Lakers since the 70's. And as a resident of LA, a fan of the Lakers, and a basketball fanatic.
I must say that i am DISGUSTED with the franchise, ever since 2000 the nba has been assisting us, we cheat our way to the finals and to a championship (2002). Stern killed the game i love and the team ive loved for 30 years and i truly believe that championship belonged to sacramento in 02. Sadly this game is no longer about basketball, its about ratings.

Seriously what is wrong with u? All the NBA teams are good in their own way. Unique playing style, unique players. The problem that made them look bad is the match up against all the other teams in the league. Example. OKC/NJN Young and Inexperienced. LAL/BOS/SAS Old and Experienced. Even if they cheated, that was in the past. All we can hope for is the NBA commissioner to take action to prevent it from happenening.

Anyone ever look at Boston's trade history? Pre-1986 Boston and red Auerbach were part of the most one-sided deals in NBA history.
The Celtics took 9 potential championships from the Lakers, 8 of them from 1962-1986 with many players they basically stole from smaller market teams.

I don't have a favorite NBA team. I do enjoy following it though. I major in sports journalism at UC San Diego right now so I do follow the NBA. I can't stand the NBA though. It's rigged. @navsunplaya jersey sales have nothing to do with anything! Jersey sales are based off of a fans liking towards a particular player and not necessarily the team itself. Tim Tebow leds the NFL in jersey sales, surely its not because all of those people are Bronco fans. There are people with Kobe and jerseys that arent even Laker fans but like him. Jerseys don't make a person a bandwagoner. Many times its based off region as well Gasol is the top jersey seller in Spain, can you guess why?

every team has bandwagon fans, Boston, Cleveland, Orlando, Chicago, Atlanta, Miami, etc.
a number of big market teams will get favorable calls, its not only L.A, your beloved Celtics got alot of "favorable" calls in game 2 of the 08 finals.
to call out the Lakers for this is immature and stupid, and to be honest, makes it seem like your knowledge of the game is extremely limited.
