  • this is a beautiful track!

  • Hans Zimmer and Steve Jablonsky have two totally different styles. Anyone who says they're similar isn't listening.

  • @mjohnson64064 Well, I didn't really disagree with you, as Steve Jablonsky sounds more like Jeremy Soule, but -and there, please forgive my bad english, I'm not good enough to deal with musical terms, I think. I never tried before, in fact- , but there's a lot of similitudes. Like, first, the rythme. For instance, this one & Black Hawk Down theme have the same slow and... unpulsated? rythme.

  • @mjohnson64064 But the most flagrant exemple I can find is with Da Vinci Code theme, or in a certain lesser way King Arthur theme. There's still this kind of leitmotiv melody, that I wouldn't be able to qualify in Shakespeare's language. Don't you think so ?

  • @mjohnson64064 part true

Hans Zimmer produced the soundtrack as well. Which is why you can hear a tiny pic of his sound. Other wise most of them are Steve's which are great.

  • @mjohnson64064 Ridiculous statement. If you have any musical ear at all you'll recognise many similar traits to them.... it is the sound of the modern action movie that they have honed and shaped. They still are both excellent musicians in their own right but to say they are "totally different styles" is just not true!

  • @mjohnson64064 For Revenge of the Fallen, Jablonsky enlisted the help of his mentor Hans Zimmer and rock band Linkin Park while working on the score.

  • Steve Jablonsky has worked at Hans Zimmer's company, Remote Control Productions. It's not surprising that he draws a lot of influence from Zimmer's work.

  • I played this and bumblebees theme with the NightRiders.

  • è stupenda questa canzone... <3

  • 0:48 nice :)

  • ohh? And what style might that be? Please elaborate.

  • If you know somewhat about soundtracks you should already have seen that Steve Jablonsky and Hans Zimmer are comppletely different.

Why don't you look up some other work of Steve and compare it to Hans Zimmer... Huge difference

  • I've compared them and I have to admit they have a lot of similarities. But I would say one is better than the other, both of them deserve to do those scores, but I get your point... where is the originality if they all start 'faking' each other.

  • you are absolutely wrong

because Hans Zimmer didn't write any of his pieces

its a known fact that he's a fraud

when is borrowing techniques a bad thing?

musical traits cannot be copy righted

only actual passages and it doesn't apply after 50 years

not all commercial pieces are copies get your facts straight

  • I'm confused by your assertion. It's a known fact? There is no legitimate claim I can find that backs that claim up - and I certainly have never heard of this. Even if your claims are correct in saying he does not write the melody for some of his works then that may well be true. Composers are not charged with writing melodies, they compose melodies into completed works which is MUCH harder than writing out a regular melody. Yet, I have still seen nothing backing up your claims.

  • Case in point, Linkin Park wrote 2 of the melodies for Transformers 2. The whole Pirates of the Caribbean saga only has half a dozen melodies and they are all very simple, it's the way they are composed that is impressive. And I never faulted them for borrowing techniques of the past, I'm just saying that there's very little 'new' in these pieces, they just do them very well - both of them.

  • LOL You're either bad at trolling or HORRIBLE at lying. You won't find Zimmer's Range in 1 Movie (generally) because his music is responsive to the Tone of the movie. In reality, Zimmer's range is unparalleled: check "Chevaliers De Sangreal" vs "Gortoz A Ran - J'Attends" vs "You're so Cool." Zimmer might as well be Indie - but what's important to note is that his songs perfectly reflect the Tone of the scenes they are in.

  • amen

  • really? who did?

  • people who work in his company as did previously steve jablonksy, he was a ghost writer for him, think about it, why would a composer have a company who he employs as writers when he supposedly is. It means he needs their talent

  • Comment removed

  • Let's be honest, MOST movie soundtracks these days are pretty lame and generic.

Jablonski made sure THIS one wouldn't be that. This is an outstanding music score with character and passion! My beloved Transformers held against THIS kind of talent.. excellent!

  • @Drwhodunnit1973 this track is awesome

  • No Sacrifice No Victory !

  • i love this music. its at the end right before what ive done starts playing

  • this is the best tune ever better than abba

  • This song is called Sam Our Hero

  • No Sacrifice, No Victory

  • i think the they have VERRY long legs!

  • i play snare drum on dis

  • WHAT IS THIS SONG CALLED?

  • Its Called: Autobots- by Steve Jablonsky

  • We are playing this song in our 7th grade band.

  • you should record it and post it. id love to hear it.

  • ironhide is the greatest.

  • they should make a new optimus prime toy. it has detachable hands so you could attach on the swords, the hooks, and the guns

  • Epic.

  • What's the one song theme in the first that's also played in the trailer?

  • Were we any diffrent? Peter Cullen is the TRUE VOICE OF OCTIMUS PRIME! WITH THIS MUSIC AND HIS VOICE! THAT ALONE GAVE IT 10 Stars!!!!

  • The best movie after LOTR and STAR WARS

  • Agreed

  • steve jablonsky is awesome!

  • Comment removed

  • i finally watch part 2, but its not quite nice as part 1. it doesn't have an introduction of the new autobots.

  • Yeah, but i like it anyways. less talking MOAR FIGHTING WOO!! watching bots gettin they're heads sliced off is kool >X)

  • noow the song name autobots

  • muy bueno

  • This is just beautiful, as genius as Howard Shore, well almost:)

  • or hans zimmer :) <3

  • this song gets me soo pumped

  • the beginnings of those soundtrakcs always remember me of war movies like James Ryan and stuff like that.

i really love it ! nice one

  • this sound track is great!!!

  • Guys i am looking for this song since i watched this movie. Can anyone tell me what is the name of this song and the artist name? This song is really awesome. It makes me keep on repeating it. Where can i get this song?

  • It's called, "No Sacrifice, No Victory" and it is by composer Steve Jablonsky. It is on the Transformers Score, not the soundtrack. The score is very hard to come by and is very expensive since it is out of print, but you can purchase the download online quite easily.

I would suggest the entire score, it is brilliant.

  • What is this song called?

  • this song is called "Optimus"

  • I thought "Optimus" was longer.

  • Comment removed

  • It is actually called, "No Sacrifice, No Victory".

My highlights from the score are, "You're a Soldier Now", "Bumblebee", "Scorponok", "Soccent Attack" and "Arrival to Earth". The whole score is fantastic but those are my personal favorites.

  • I can play this song

  • what is the song when they "Roll Out"

  • Optimus..You mean at the Taj Ma Hall when they were going to sector seven?

Or when they was on the road and bumblebee drived past them and they swerved around? cause thats Optimus Vs. Megatron

  • Speaking of someone needing to do research, this track is actually called "No Sacrifice, No Victory"

  • Ah, moron both tracks are the same actually, "No sacrifice, no victory" is just longer.

  • "...both tracks are the same..." "...is just longer"

these two pieces of info of your comment contradict each other. Moron.

  • awesome soundtrack...Steve Jablonsky you are great!!!

  • were playing part of this song and some other transformer songs in band and it sounds so cool ! :)

  • Blackout will be back in the 2nd movie..

  • I don't think so,he was killed by Lennox and his team.

  • He will..I watched shoWest TF trailer & there he is...you can refer to WikiPedia..;)

  • I think that was something else.

  • Let's just watch the next movie later...can't wait 2 c it!

  • Hey,dude..I guess u were right..it isn't Blackout who will return in the 2nd movie..it's Grindor who has the same vehicle mode as Blackout's..

  • No,you were right.I looked it up on the wikipedia, and it said there.

  • blackout is dead but there a character look like him.

  • Wow! Love the song! We play this in our band, but it's nothing like the real thing! Amazing!

  • where can I download this..?

  • espectacular... cunado habla optimus!!!

  • we are playing this song in band the lukancic band

  • i love it

  • When I first heard this theme it took awhile for me to first accept it (I was so used to the old theme) but when peter's voice chimed in and clips of the optimus prime rolling onto the combat zone then tranforming into combat mode was shown countless times, now I understand it more clearly, it was meant for the autobots, in that it holds extremely tight to primes character it is prime with all his bold colors. It is the true theme for the autobots, in that it is the true theme for prime...

  • ...I LOVE this score. Truly epic! Every time i hear it i hear the voice "...I am OPTIMUS PRIME..."

  • I get goose bumps when I hear stuff like this.
