  • Honey is not vegan; it's an animal product.

  • wow! i gatta try this!

  • honey isnt vegan

  • @nikolilaw Honey is vegan, it is NOT an animal protein.

  • LOOKS GOOD!

  • My Irish grandmother lived to 103, and she ate meat every day. And she never lost any of her mental faculties, no alzheimers, no dementia, nothing.

I think ill stick with eating cooked meat, raw vegan diets are a fantasy people have that they think will give them super health, when it wont do anything.

  • @Mike81262 The animals she ate probably didn't have all the hormones, antibiotics, growth hormone in it coupled with freedom to move, sunshine and it's natural food sources. It may have even been freshly butchered...all this for a majority of her lifetime. The contamination of our food supply has been going on for about the last 30 yrs or so.

  • @Mike81262 thats because they didnt poison food with hormones and antibiotics back then, they are poisoning us purposely with chemicals these days to gain more control of everything and everyone

  • Can you post the actual recipe? Thanks

  • I'd love the actual recipe please.

  • @2:38

    Honey isn't vegan. Woops....

  • Just wondering, what would be wrong with having cooked black beans with the rest of the raw ingredients?

  • @BytomGirl it wouldn't be wrong, but i guess it like doesn't have as much nutrients er something

  • @redglassesblueshoes Well, some foods are actually more nutritious when cooked as the nutrients are absorbed better, even in some veggies like tomatoes and spinach. Beans are more digestable when cooked as raw starch is hard to digest so I think combining raw with some cooked is best answer.

  • @BytomGirl There is a school of thought that ALL cooked foods create an autoimmune response.

  • @TheGraceofChrist Well, if that school was right, 99.9% of people on this earth would be dying of lupus...

  • @BytomGirl Well I am that's for sure and all I used to eat was cooked food, even my vegetables were cooked. I refuse to take the immune suppression drugs for the Lupus my doctors diagnosed me with and am eating raw instead and coming back to life, slowly but surely. Good call on the Lupus! You are very intuitive!

  • @TheGraceofChrist Well, who is talking about eating ALL cooked food? The secret is to eat a balanced diet, cook the foods that have to be cooked and can;t be eaten raw and eat raw all the ones that can be eaten raw. Did you eat before all healthy cooked foods or did you eat a lot of junk food? There are many causes of the auto immune desease and we can't blame it just on cooked food... like I said, 99.9% of people would be sick with it if that was the case.

  • @BytomGirl I ate salads every once in a while so I guess it isn't accurate to say I ate all cooked food. No, I've never been a junk food junkie. I ate a lot of red meat and cheese though. Most of America is on over the counter and prescription meds for one reason or another. All I know is I am getting better rapidly from eating all raw foods.

  • @TheGraceofChrist Yes, eating so much animal fat in red meat and cheese is not healthy but also genetics p[lay big role in autio immune deseases... also exposure to ultra violet light, envieenement, chemicals, you can eat all raw food but when it's not organically grown, it can also get you sick. Did you smoke? Did you ever have bacterial or viral infections? There are many things that weaken an immune system so cooked food is not to blame, it's an overall life style and genetics.

  • @BytomGirl My family is very healthy and long lifers, living into the 90's and 100's. It is definitively my choices that led to my poor health. I have made a huge effort to stay out of the sun since I was a teen. I have never worked in an environment with chemicals and I live in a state that is not industrial. I now eat only organic produce but before then I ate at restaurants and bought organic produce so it was about 50/50. I'm not saying diet is 100% the cause just that I'm getting well now.

  • @TheGraceofChrist Genetics however go back centuries, we don;t always know who was ill way back the, chemicals also don;t only come from the enironment itself but the food we eat, cows are fed hormones and grains full of chemicals, plants are sprayed with pestocides and grow on artificials fertilizers, the air we breathe is full of fumes and actually being in the sun for about half hour to an an hour a day is very beneficial, lack of Vit> D can cause a lot of health problems.

  • @TheGraceofChrist Continued... Eating processed foods and stress are huge culprits and sugar is hidden in almost everythoing. I am sure you would be getting well now if you also ate cooked beens, quinoa, buckwheat, spinach (spinach should be cooked, look it up) etc... in addition to just raw foods, you would have a more comlete diet of high fiber/high protein foods. I eat a very healthy diet of cooked and raw foods and have an amazing immune system, no cold or flu in years.

  • @BytomGirl Yes that's all very true! I am sure I'm not getting enough sun and fresh air. That's good news about eating beans and quinoa, I'm craving them =) Thank you.

  • @TheGraceofChrist My pleasure...and if you are truly craving certain foods it means that your body needs those nitrients, these are true cravings unlike those for junk food that are more like an addiction. Hood luck to you :-)

  • I guess you are using this recipe :D, right?

    recipes(.)sparkpeople(.)com/recipe-detail(.)asp?recipe=57888

  • My mouth is watering...

  • You know what would make those tacos even better!!!!! Some real ground beef or Carne asada...lolololololollolololo eat some meat people......

  • @socalme1

You know what? You are stupid! Not only because you eat meat (in so many ways!) but because you hijacked a vegan video with your stupid comment. I mean what else could you do than expect to get hater-comments? DUH -.-'

  • Just made this AMAZING!!! Thanks for the vid!

  • Can you please explain how to make raw black beans? I would love to have black beans on my raw diet but thought you have to cook beans. THANKS!

  • @TheGraceofChrist You can try sprouting the black beans. I don't like the taste personally, but you do have to cook beans and chickpeas to eat them.

  • @Ineedmorelives Okay. My head is swirling with all the various theories and schools of thought on wellness. The Gerson protocol excludes all sprouts lol.

  • @TheGraceofChrist I see, well this may be because inside a sprout (alfalfa) and such like it, there is a high chance of bacteria and contamination from the soil. A normal body can handle the bacteria and might actually benefit from it, but a weakened body (from cancer) may get very ill from it.

  • @Ineedmorelives That makes sense. Perhaps when my immune system is functioning properly I can try sprouting. Thanks for your input!

  • @TheGraceofChrist

    Google soaking beans.

  • @SuicidalNun Will do. THANKS!

  • looks amazing.

  • Yum you guys!! I can almost taste it! :D

  • thats not a taco; it's a tostada :-)

  • Too bad I don't know how to make this since I have no idea of the ingredients, how long I soak and all those needed details. Maybe this information can be printed on the bottom of the video?

  • Frederic Patenaude would say this is too oily (and therefore unhealthy), wouldn't he?

  • @herculesAML I mean, too fatty.

  • That looks absolutely DIVINE!!!

  • im not a vegan, but hell, i want this

  • this must not be a high carb low fat raw vegan diet ? since the meat is pure nuts and you put alot of it .. right?

  • @DarlingKaya Nuts are high fat.... But a much nicer fat then that of the dead...

  • @BabyKieransParty not only that, it's probably the most complete food to find; high in protein, omega3, vitamin E, ...

  • @kameh Im a hemp aholic myself hemp and flax are my loves... I make nut milks as well but try not to over do it. Been digging cabbage salids. Make the swedish pizza salid style totaly to live for

  • @BabyKieransParty Almonds and cashews are not raw! Cashews must be steamed before they are allowed to be imported into the United States, and almonds in California (which supply 80% of the world) are pasteurized.

  • @foosbeast Good thing I do not live in the Usa then... But you can still get raw almonds from spain sent to Cali... My almonds are raw I can grow them if I want. If you seek you shall find...

  • o_0 yum...

  • This looks soooo goood i want some!!

  • The guy filming seems too excited

  • This would kill any sort of training regimen you try to follow. Fatty fat fat. Not that it doesn't look good but it would make you feel like shite.

I detect Oklahoma accent. I wonder if I'm right.

  • i didnt think it was good to mix fruit with veg as the fruit ferments during digestion

  • Yummy!

  • Looks good... I'm a vegetarian, but not a raw vegan, so I think I'd like to try baking the "shell" .... Thanks for sharing the video! :)

  • This looks sooooo good

    Thank you!

  • Yummmmmm!!!!!!! Honey, Ewwwwww!!!!!!!!

  • How about rolling them up in the leaves like a 'taquito'?

Would be easier and more portable to eat.

Each leaf could have a different filling.

  • Thank you and @ Eric - what are the quantities of Matt Monarch's cheese recipe - would love to try it - Thank you

  • Ok, so I just made the meat and Matt Monarch's cheese (red bell pepper and macs) through the meat and cheese on regular head of lettuce and baby spinach with tomatoes and red onions cut up. Let me tell you. This IS delicious!!!!! Best taco salad I have ever had. ( I also added hot sauce) The ancho chili powder is the secret!

    Thanks man!

  • @EricRyanConstantine Threw* (brain fart!)

  • its super healthy and looks super yummy.... but man it takes alot of work to make something like this

  • How do you make the walnut mix...(recipe) Thanx

  • this is just stupid. Ill stick with the Hamburger.

  • what is the dressing in the red bell peppers and pineapples

  • nuts and fruits is a digestion nightmare!

  • It's gorgeous! This is the most meat-like raw vegan meat I have ever seen! Do you have any substitutes for Nama Shoyu?

  • @Weewinkle7 'Coconut Secret' brand liquid aminos are similar to soy sauce, though I generally like to use Celtic Sea Salt for just about everything since it's simple & awesome

  • Honey is now vegan?

  • @raultalbot7 Depends what kind of vegan you are.

  • @dillpickleboocutie ...

Ok, I'm game. What kind of vegan eats honey?

  • @raultalbot7 Vegans that don't care or vegan's that don't see the harm in it, like me. I eat honey, but I'm vegan and I still eat eggs.

  • @dillpickleboocutie ...

Yeah...I know what you mean. I'm vegan and I still eat meat.

  • @raultalbot7 Lol yeah.. I don't really believe in names like "raw foodist" "vegan" "vegetarian" etc etc there are a lot of names, I believe you should eat whatever works for you body. What makes you feel best, and that's mainly all raw foods for me.

  • @raultalbot7 Vegans that don't care or vegan's that don't see the harm in it, like me. I eat honey, but I'm vegan and I still eat eggs.

  • Comment removed

  • @raultalbot7 he already said that particular bowl was the outlier... since it had roasted tomatoes (not raw) and honey (not vegan)

  • @raultalbot7 some vegans eat it some don't... dunno... kinnda is or isn't vegan i guess...depends how you look at it, because it actually doesn't come out of bees, they just collect it.

  • @mod3l Bee polin is vegan and has never been injested and regurgatated by bees like Honey. Honey is bee vomit ment for feeding the queen bee....... Any way unless you are a bee keeper or get raw unheated honey from a bee keeper. Then the honey you injest has been heated thus killing the healing raw power inside it. And being a vegan that drinks milk is like being a christian that warships the devil... Ya walloper

  • @raultalbot7 this is RAW vegan, I notice there are lots of differences between a raw vegan and a regular vegan. I do notice that some raw vegans eat honey & also some of them drink raw goat or cow milk. Vegans are a lifestyle with the MAIN focal point in keeping animal exploitation out of their way of life completely (they take it beyond just their eating habits) whereas I notice raw vegans are more focused on their own personal health first & foremost (as well as animal rights & environment).

  • @Alina674 Ok there is only vegan and non vegan....

  • @BabyKieransParty Not according to the raw vegans. They have a different idea of what their diet is all about. Raw vegans don't eat things that are heated as regular vegans may. They are all about "freshness" & "purity" and keeping out processing, packaging, eating mostly or all organic, freshly picked foods, etc. They don't eat certain other things that the regular vegan diet consists of. There are quite a few differences.

  • @raultalbot7

LOL! Who honestly gives a F***??

    Damn I hate nerds!

  • @raultalbot7

Here, here!!! A LOT of 'vegan' rawfoodists seem to consider this (honey) OK. And even think of it as vegan. I don't really know what honey is? But I think it is a secretion from bees. Something tells me this is NOT vegan!!! : (

  • @Novelwit2000 No, Actually, bees produce honey to feed their grubs.

    Lrnb4idiot.

  • @raultalbot7 Is it not Vegan? I wouldn't know I just started.

  • YUM! It looks SO healthy and delicious! Makes me want to go and make some myself :)
