  • can someone if they can explain the difference in sound between the 16 and 20s, im having a hard time getting the two right

  • 98 is the one that still runs i knew it lol

  • Very good video!

  • Coolest sounding engine anyone has ever made... 20-645E3

  • Saw it 9 years ago.Did you see the E8/F7 they have there?

  • @generationll: The UP E unit was not publicly displayed - it was inside one of the shops, off limits to the public.

  • @cchan006 Are they restoring it or something?

  • @Hightrain12: I was told the museum is going to repaint it to its original as-delivered number 108, and probably go through the mechanicals while they're at it - seems to run fine now.

  • @cchan006 I meant the E unit.

  • @cchan006 so when is that up e unit going to get finished?

  • Wow 72 feet long 399,000 lb 3600hp

  • I love this!!! Well done!!!

  • hopefully its sister #92 at the Illinois Railway Museum will be fully operational again in the near future

  • I got to drive it.

  • I'm glad to see that one of those units still runs! It needs a new paint job though.

  • @mafarnz: The museum is raising money to repaint it back to its as-delivered number, #108. They'll keep it in Warbonnet, of course.

  • Cool video! Too bad the West 11th street crossing no longer has mechanical bells on it. :-(

  • @cchan006: I wish they would keep it in the modern Super fleet paint. Sure its not its original paint but the revised warbonnet is a way better scheme.

  • @cchan006 did it ever raise the money, or are they still offering, i can pitch in
