It's hard to explain without showing you. It has to do with the movement of the spine on a legless creature. If I can pull myself away from creating more creatures I will create a demo video for you.

Oh i know how 2 make them hover, u just dont add any feet and add a detail (like the carrion birds tail) that touches the ground so it seems to be floating - but the wing flapping - i dont know!!!
