Got him back. Wasn't worth it. The majority of the time you want someone back because they broke up with you and bruised your ego. It's all about ego. There are reasons you broke up and if they didn't feel like you were worthy to hang onto with all their might WHY WOULD YOU WANT THEM BACK?!

@mmariato I'm a guy and that hopeless feeling is something that I experienced a few years back. I loved this girl, she dumped me, and I thought my life was over. I sought advice from sources like this and it simply didn't work. These so called strategies. It's not about deliberate attempts to make him jealous or trying to offer "friendship" as a way to keep him in your life (that's what you're doing...admit it!). It's a tough thing, I know, but you need to move past it. Good things will happen.

@mmariato the trouble is when you contact them it only causes yourself more pain, its like digging yourself a deeper grave and just makes it a lot harder to stay in control. You should stay in NC completely, there is hope but part of it is about becoming the person you once were. Moving on really is the start of getting someone back, you just have to focus on YOU right now and not the things you have no control over. Do things that make you desirable and valuable!

i'm gonna be cynical and say i don't think this is gonna work for me, she's completely blanking me, although i know she will still have feelings for me, she's the stubborn type who once she's made her decision she's gonna stick to it, and it's really frustrating because i know we could sort things out because nothing too bad happened. Oh well i guess if you're reading this post and it's a couple months down the line, you can ask me if it worked, and yes i did pay for the book.

@robriani I paid for advice too. It's not going to work man. Nothing bad had to happen for her to just end things, as I discovered in my case. That doesn't make you a bad person. Right now, your only goal is to get her to change her mind and make her appreciate you. She's on your mind constantly, she's making you feel depressed and bad about yourself, and you're hoping that you're phone will ring and her number will appear! She's owning you and you're letting her. Resist temptation and move on.
