justin, why don't you sing more often ? you have such a beautifull voice. You play sooooo well. You write so great song (turn to tell was yours right ? ) you deserve to be in front of the stage !
Hey man, really good!! It's really cool that you do this. I don't know if I can submit a video request this way but I'm a HUGE Rise Against fan and was wondering if there's anyway you could post a video playing one of their easier songs? I assume swing life away would be easiest but any one of their songs would be awesome!! I really really want to learn to play some of their songs. Thanks man!!
hey youtubers ive been playing guitar for a few months on my shitty guitar and want to get a new acoustic but have no idea whats the right one for me. i have a budget of £100-150 i want one that isnt a cheap beginners but a high quality for a good price
@steffemelec Unfortunately yes it's true. I guess bullshit like this is similiar to the fact that for example some bands tab's like Velvet Revolver, Led Zeppelin etc. are banned for some countries (Poland don't know what bout' another countries) and Rocksmith game isn't yet released in Europe. One word - Licenses
Justin, I'm never going to be any good at the guitar but I enjoy having a go. You are a very talented guitarist & teacher and a generous bloke too giving lessons which may or may not be rewarded and I'm definitely enjoying having a go at the easy stuff. Getting your beginners disc and song book for Xmas. Cheers fella keep up the good work.

Just 6 months ago I thought the C cord was a cord that I was never really going to master. I'd recommend checking out Justin's minimum movement exercise and his 1 minute changes exercise.
@dillydan88 actually i think the C chord is one of the chords with the most natural feeling..i like it more than say a B chord or an F chord..maybe it' just me though
this was the first song i learnt on the guitar, and its still the one i first play when i pick up my guitar. love the difference with the sus chords. will be having a play later i think. Thanks Justin your a ledgend.
Just wondering if Justin has done this as two big fingers up to G'n R.. They can't make you take this video off YouTube because they don't own the rights.. Well done Justin, stick it to those tossers..
@ItalianStallion393 Probably due to the sus chords and the more complicated strumming he shows us... That's actually something he teaches in his intermediate course and not the beginner's course ;)
I'm perfectly aware that Knockin' is not GnR' song. That's EXACTLY why it'd be funny if their lawyers asked Justin to remove this lesson (of a song that GnR only covered). I hope I made this clear.
I often have a hard time hearing the strumming when the hammer ons and pull offs are used, along with the sus cords. I think the way that uve taught this song my be the biggest help for me getting passed this block and also help me transition to the intermediate 16th note strumming pattern.
I just skimmed through this lesson and thought it was well done. The only thing you left out was the chord substitution. I use this same song for teaching the relation between the "C" chord and the 'Am" chord. The Am is the relative minor to C and is a great chord substitution since they have nearly all the same notes. Not to take anything away from your great efforts....well done sir!
Justin do you know Marty Shwartz? If not you should meet each outher because you two are the best guitar teachers on youtube by far. Ive learned alot from both of you so, yeah you should talk.
@BadGuitarPlayerRock yea i requested a song from him cuz he says in his video that he'll play it if you asked him to and he never replied to me so i stopped watching his videos
A favorite of mine to play but like Wish You Were Here by Pink Floyd it's just such a short song. You end up getting lost in it while playing it and before you know it it's done. Fortunately there are two extra lyrics you can do for this one but sadly there aren't for WYWH.
Another great lesson Justin and thanks for all the work you put into doing these for all of us.
I bought my guitar a year ago and tried to find a way to learn to play it. I've tried a lot of internet courses, but nothing seems quite feasible to learn me something. I thought I'ld never learn to play the guitar! And then I found your lessons. The way you teach is perfect for me. I'm actually a real beginner guitar player! It feels so good to be able to play something! Thank you, Justin! :)
@MrPapas1991 Both are good teachers, I refer to both of their lessons but I agree, I prefer Justin, he takes the same light hearted approach to teaching as Marty, but still teaches with depth and gets the details that sometimes Marty misses. Both are great teachers...But Justin is the man :)
@ParanormallyAwesome oh misunderstood sorry. i thought you said ' for someone who is extra awsome' implying that justin is not that awesome, while what you meant was for extra awesome videos look for marty. then you're right
