These election people are sooooooo dumb. The guy that took the sign down is the janitor at my church. I mean, why even film it? It's not even a huge deal. And him taking the sign down isn't illegal.
The cops were wrong. It's not private property if it's bein used as a polling place, which they received a taxpayer check for.
If Hrabovsky was at least 100 feet from the front door -- which he seemed to be -- he had every right to be flying a sign or setting up a table, so long as he wasn't blocking traffic.
WOW! I have a blog that, among other things, discusses local politics. I live in a small town and I am amazed at how nasty things can get.
I would love follow-up on this. What happened? Who were these guys and why were they objecting so strongly?
I am looking to move to Dunedin next year and have been reading up on your local politics. This isn't the stuff you see on the Pinellas County website, eh?
This "candidate" was violating voting precinct rules and church policy. He was very rude and would not listen to reason. His big sign was blocking traffic and the church can't be seen as endorsing one candidate over another. He thankfully called the police for us and they agreed with us and he had to move his sign. Just a few feet off church property. He must have been having a bad day considering how far behind he was in the voting.

I would love to make a lawsuit off this guy and take all of his money. For taking my sign down.
