One thing to consider is that only by joining the military and personally stopping this kind of abuse can you do anything about it. I did 3 tours in Iraq as a marine grunt and i never allowed this kind of shit to go down amongst those above or below me.

I´m sure that there are alot of good men and women in the armed forces but it wouldn´t really be interesting to see or read about some soldier patrolling the streets of Bagdad.
