Not brothers, but they were friends. Before Sid joined the Pistols, he hung around with a group of punks calling themselves "The Bromley Contingent", who were always seen at the Pistols shows, and some of them even showed up with the Pistols at their infamous interview on the Bill Grundy show. Billy Idol was part of this crowd, as were Siouxsie Sioux and Steve Severin. Wasn't long before they started putting their own bands together.
