I really enjoyed 21 grams.....the character Jack went through alot of trials and tribulations...and lost his faith....and even though he had given up on God...but God had not given up on him..and he was saved 3 times..#1the charges were dropped or something.#2.the gun didn't fire.....#3 he tried to confess to shooting the journalist...out of guilt for the accident....and it didn't work....they released him...he was a good person......the movie has so much emotion.....I loved Benicio as Jack.....

The part where the dad tells his little girl to "Turn to him the other cheek also" then tells her brother to hit her does not know what Jesus meant when He said that during the sermon on the Mount.

What Jesus meant is to demand respect and not allow anyone to abuse you if he knew Jewish customs he would know that's what it means.

I like this movie allot but if you don't know God you will come out of it wondering how God could be so cruel because this movie leads you to believe He is.

well that was the problem with Jordan(Benicio del Toro), he was taught this things, he didn't learn them by heart, he didn't understand them, he took things literally and this drove him crazy because things were not "working out" him being faithful no matter what was not "working out".

i think "Jack Jordan" was confused about the cup of God , just he gives his life to Jesus and when he killed these persons he feels betrayed by Jesus , damn its very deep sometimes i feel like that ... maybe you have to feel it to understand me

This was my first real introduction to Benecio Del Toro and I was first of all blown away and second of all fell in love with him. I would have to say this is a movie you need to see two or three times to get "everything" out of it, and it is well worth your time. JennyJD4320
