  • I still think this has potential...all they would need to do is rewrite the whole script, change dialogue lines, cut some of the unnecessary jokes, and make it a bit more dramatic.

  • Hey, how did I miss this show when it was on? Would have watched it!

  • this is great t.v.

  • I'm currently watching this on mute while also watching Little House on the Prairie.

  • That dad looks JUST like Jerry Mathers.

  • @BarbieBoy1997 He ate him. lol.

  • I NEVER knew this existed! did it ever come to VHS or even DVD?

  • Next to Barbara Billingsley, the best actor here is Ken Osmond. I think they were the reason why I continued to watch the show.

I remember how disappointed I was when they recast Fred Rutherford. But I guess they didn't want to kill off the character.

  • This is SO corny... no, wait, dorky.

  • no wonder this show didnt make that shitty music

  • I'm currently watching him on Married with Children. That is probably his best adult acting I've ever scene.

"Am I truly lower than Charles Nelson Riley?"

    Yup! lol.

  • Not ONCE did June speak any jive on this show. C'mon!!

  • The only one who was actually a descent actor was Tony Dow......wow. I remember watching this when it was on TV but I DON'T remember how bad overall the acting was. :OP

  • @Julie101670 Agreed! I also remember watching this show when I was pretty young...but man...looking back on it now I cannot believe at how ridiculous this show truly was.

  • I think it's not funny any more because "morals" have changed. Seriously, to say " I love you Dad" these days = awkward.

  • "Dad...you're rad!" ha ha. WTF moment right there for me, which makes it funny

  • God...the 80s had terrible clothing styles...

  • I've seen better acting and all I watch is porn.

  • ive been watching 15mins. now the poor acting was the kids the adults did alright i like the show it still makes me laugh its all how you look at it and if you loved the original or not.

  • Yikes....I couldnt make it past the first couple of minutes. The acting, writing, laugh track are all poorly executed.

  • lol, this show feels even more cheesier than the original Leave it to Beaver, I wish they would have included this series in the box set collection of the original series, cause I was born after it went off air and I am pretty sure they haven't played it since then and i am curious about this show.

  • Oh O.o what the heck??

  • wheres the episode where beaver gets a drunk and beats his wife. ")

  • The acting works better with b&w, cuz their are different expectations for a 1950s and 1980s show.

  • It's nice to see all the old characters again. But in many ways, you just can't go back to the innocent time of the original Leave it to Beaver. I wish I could, but you can't.

  • I agree with the people who like this. I was a kid when this came on the air and I actually really liked it. It was nominated for a bunch of awards as a matter of fact and ran four seasons. It was a good show for it's time and it was kinda of fun seeing all the kids grown up and trying to be parents. The laugh track is annoying but then again, even the original series had one.

  • Peg: Al, can't you get him a job at the shoe store?

Al: Yeah, sure. Work all day with the beaver and come home to you, Peg.

  • This show isn't as bad as people make it out to be. Obviously, the ORIGINAL Leave it to Beaver is far superior, but this NEW Leave it to Beaver is pretty decent, especially if you compare it to the crap on t.v nowadays.

Jerry Mather's acting isn't that bad people, c'mon...

  • ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW

  • no it's not unwatchable, "Beaver" is trying to act too much like ward (and doing a bad job of it,) but think the rest of it is good

  • I really don't care what anyone says, I really enjoyed this series (didn't like the orig. Beaver, but truly enjoyed this one). Anybody have any idea where I can get this on DVD or VHS???????? Thanks.

  • Terrible

  • Jerry looks like John Cryer after sitting on an air hose. lol.

  • WOW! SO MANY HATERS....IT'S NOT ABOUT WHETHER OR NOT THIS SHOW WAS GOOD OR BAD....IT'S ABOUT SEEING THE ORIGINAL CAST MINUS HUGH BEAUMONT WHO DIED A COUPLE OF YEARS EARLIER. I'D ENJOYED THE REUNION SERIES!!!

  • omg this is sooooooooooooooooooooo bad the acting and storyline is unbearable.

  • where did you get this from? i knew i wasn't crazy this show did came on tv

  • i have never heard of this show.. when did this come about?

  • @TheEmaliciouse , It came out in the early 80's. it was a sequel to the 1960's "Leave it to Beaver". It is one of the rare examples of a television series revival sequel (not spin-off) that revolves around the characters from the original series. Other examples of this would be The Brady Brides (and later The Bradys) and What's Happening Now.

  • no sound!

  • this, is stupid.

  • The best acting in this was Ken Osmond (Eddie Haskel)..and he wasn't even an actor at this point....he was an LAPD officer!!

  • @aftershock71 , imagine being pulled over by him. you would think Ken was kidding and be looking for a hidden camera. LOL

  • @aftershock71 Most police officers do other lines of work.

  • wow this is so spontanious and funny. What did this last one week or half a season?

  • @oooowwwwdddd Four seasons.

  • The Horror!!!! People just don't know when to stop. Don't try to revive a show that ended in the 60's in the late 80's. Leave it to Beaver was a great show but this stupid show is terrible!

  • I used to LOVE this show when I was little.

  • I wonder where the rest of the movie is!

  • Beaver got a perm, just like donald sutherland and the Brady men. Weird!

"Am I really lower than Charles Nelson ReillY?" lol.

  • Now I'm not at all surprised that they made a Leave it To Beaver movie in the 90s.

  • He still acts like the Beave, so he still has that clipped deadpan delivery, which sounds like a hack.

  • lol

  • He needs a Razzie.

  • usually the orignal is better.

  • its actually not that bad. at least not by 1980's standards and it's nice seeing june and wally and the gang all grown up. you want really corny, try listening to the diff'rent strokes theme song. good grief...

  • I wonder what Kip's doin' now?

  • The 1950 's show is better!

  • @zester09 ya it is :(

  • I remember this..boy this is terrible..lame laugh track.

  • Tony Dow still looks good. I had a crush on him way back.

  • yea, me too..tony dow was a hottie back then....nice body 2.

  • I didn't notice the body (not clued in I guess). I thought his lips were shapely and cute and his eyes......ahhhhh. A 6 year old can be easy to impress, but we remember.

  • and no pug nose LOL i loved that episode

  • he was such a hottie and i always liked how he lloked out for his little brother..

  • When I saw him on the Bundys I use to wonder why he wanted "Someone to put a bullet to the old beave's head" and now I know why.

  • Funny, I'm watching that episode even as we speak.

He is lower than Charles Nelson Riley.

  • I remember this. Been waiting for someone to load this

  • Jerry Mathers was a much better actor when he was a kid.

  • what a shame. This is awful

  • Oh no -- this is unwatchable.

  • WOW! Thank you so much! I haven't ssen this since I was 3 years old.

  • i think theyre doing gay porn

  • I loved this show as pre teen in the 80s!I had a crush on the boys on this show. Whatever happened to them?

  • not even close to being as good as the original

  • thanks, got anymore episodes

  • its not theie actual kids =(...to bad!! but w/e

  • yeah eddies kid is his real kid in real life

  • most people incluiding me are just watching this to see the old actors like Tony Dow, Ken Osmond and so on. haha (L)

I LOVE LEAVE IT TO BEAVER

  • Ironic I was just looking for the intro. Happened to find the Thanksgiving episode a day before Thanksgiving. lol I remember being mad about seeing a different Fred Rutherford.

Re: "most people incluiding me are just watching this to see the old actors like Tony Dow, Ken Osmond and so on. haha (L)

I LOVE LEAVE IT TO BEAVER"

Yup. Pretty much why I watched. I also watched it to see the ol' Mayfield.

  • I LOVE EDDIE :D

how many seasons did this show air was it popular?

  • Man I wish Tv Land or some other station showed this, Leave It To beaver is my all time favorite sitcom and I never got to see this series :(

  • Eddie rocks!

  • Yeah he rules!

  • i love tony dow, he is awesome, still is

  • Def rly corney

  • WoW this show is horrible compared to the original

  • When is this going to come out on DVD???

  • There are some episodes available in public domain--but you have to search for them on-line, not official DVD sets, just available from collectors.

  • Probably never

  • Eddie Haskell is the man. "Good Morning Mrs.Cleaver. My that is a lovely dress your wearing."

  • THANK YOU for posting this! I LOVED this show when I was a kid in the '80s. I wish they would put it on DVD. Do you, by any chance, have any other episodes, like Oliver and the Earth Angels tennis shoes that he loses, or Kip and Freddie's band singing "Fire in the Gym," or Kip denting Wally's classic convertible after he gets his driver's license, or Kevin's birth? (You can tell I'm a fan, LOL!)

As for Hugh Beaumont, he passed away in 1982.

  • You remember that song "Fire In The Gym"? I kinda liked that song.

  • Ha! "Wanna smell"

"Uh No thanks ill take your word for it"

  • Whatever happened to Hugh Beumont (Ward) from the Original Leave it to Beaver?

  • Hugh Beoumont passed away in 1980.

  • What Ever Happened To John Snee(Ollie)?

  • wow!!! i've been wanting to see this show forever! Do you have the one when Kelly and Oliver try to remove Oliver's braces? LOL. Kaleena Kiff (Kelly) is a director now.

  • Any chance you have the episode with Kip singing "Fire in the Gym"? I love that song.

  • "Dad, you're rad!" :)

  • Yeah she sounded retarded

  • Hard to believe this was only on four years. The kids grew up real fast. One season they were all little like in this episode then all of a sudden they were all teenagers. I used to watch this all the time. I wish they'd bring it back in reruns or put it on DVD.
