A re-kick was in order for the Big Orange Shits on this one. The resulting kick would have won the game for the Boys from Knoxturd and UAT would not have won the national title. Colt was injured and they would not have won had he remained in the game.

As for your counter-factual argument that the Tide would have lost the BCS title game, you never know. Even before McCoy went out, it wasn't great for Texas. It would have been a different game, but you play with what you've got.
The Crimon Tide have become a Bane for the Vol's this year in both Baseball and Football. This Play against the Crimson Tide that could have won it, and the Vol's not able to drive in the winning run in extra innings base loaded against the Crimson Tide. Oh well don't expect history to repeat itself.

Yeah, I'm the guy who rolled Toomer's, but it wasn't after the Iron Bowl (I was in Tuscaloosa to see that first hand). It was to celebrate after the absurd hiring of Chizik. I also went to the air port in all my Bama gear to meet Chizik when he flew in.
