this is probably a stupid question lol but...do they have books with these pieces transposed for euphonium? probably a fools trade...i wont be able to play it but its worth a shot :D
That's really cool. So basically that extra part gives it better sound, but i'm kind of wondering how? Haha. My music teacher recommended it for when I get to higher grade levels, and the one flute that's made of pure silver. I can't think of it's name at the second.
Interesante lo que se puede lograr con el arte flautistico, excelente interpretación y buena tecnologia del uso de patas de si y la graves, en instrumento tan mexicano.

Nina, apart from that criticism I just want to say I find you a remarkable woman with loads of charisma and projection of personality both in playing flute and talking about learning to play.

I was surprised that Joan kept playing in spite of the fact that her flute extension fell off at 7:11. It was a little funny at first to see but I know that it must have been embarrassing (unless it was unnoticed).
Well, as they say, the show must go on....I once had an American flag fall over in a concert an miss me by a few inches, and kept on going. I knew it happened, but was concentrating such that it seemed to be happening to someone else.
If I compared it to your other clips, I'd say that it is missing the warmer sound that you usually. Perhaps the extension helps with projection but this clip sounds a little harsh. It's so hard to tell without being there live and without a comparative with/without. My guess is that it's harder to control at first if it does what Ms. Sparks says in terms of making it easier to play, but as I continue to listen, the tone is sounding more relaxed...how did it FEEL when you were using it?
Bravo!! 5 stars from me and a big thank you for all you do to help musicians world-wide. I was really impressed by both the fluidity of the melody (Joan) and breath control of the lower voice (Nina). Oh, and the impeccable duo flute intonation - my sister plays flute and I know first-hand how difficult that is to pull off!
How do you stand having the stands so low? XD When I try to play like that, either my eyes hurt from looking down, or my throat feels all closed up from angling down to look at the music...
SIMPLY AMAZING ! ! i always try 2 use your techniqes in my playin...hopefully wen i get a much better flute the tha one a got i'll try 2 purchase a foster extension..thnx for the inspiration
Omg! How small was the notes! or maybe that stand is really big cuz that sounds like it would need at least 2 or 3 pages! lol, Amazing btw!

It's an expensive drop....about $300, if it was gold, the $1400 just hit the floor.

*jaw drops open... as usual XD)
How do you stand having the stands so low? XD When I try to play like that, either my eyes hurt from looking down, or my throat feels all closed up from angling down to look at the music...
