Melancholy could be a feeling sometimes even stronger than happiness. Many of us have asked ourselves why there are a good number of sad songs between our all time favs. I find a reason for it: While in a melancholy mood we are more truthful to ourselves, with our guards down, even vulnerable, so I believe that instead of fighting the feeling, we may as well use it as a tool for an inner knowledge discovery to better ourselves.
