  • Have you shaved his mouth?

  • @aaeaeama We did once we started clipping him. I never cut the eye guard hair though! I want them to know if they are about to bump their eyes!

  • I am very impressed. Personally, I've worked with Friesian horses most of my life. They are naturally quite tame, and it's a two day job hopping on them and riding around merrily... without a saddle, at first. When my dad's mare's first foal was born, I had to raise her. Well... let's just say she has become a "one-person-horse", and is one of the wildest Friesians I have encountered. I did not know this, until another person tried to ride her. It was rather insane. Long story short - great job!

  • Ranger is very beautiful!!! Is he born in wild?

Sorry my english is not good,im from germany...im very interesstet in Wild horses :D

    great job!!!

  • Thank you for your comment, Ranger was born from wild parents but it was unclear if he was brought in as a new born foal or born in the holding facility. Unfortunately he spent his life on a reserve or in holding pens. I wish he would have been fresh off the range! He still had never been handled outside a squeeze shoot and was afraid of people. He is wonderful now and loves people!!! I spent some time in Germany back in 1995, I enjoyed it very much!

  • The first thing Inoticed about this horse is the ears. They seem so calm :) I admire the work you have done with this horse :)

  • love the idea where you tie him to his tail to to teach him to give into the pressure.
