mark was a great asset to the band. we had a chat after a show in Hamburg, he's quite the cool cat. his road-blog was quite fun too. funny how one can be a fan of the band for merely a little more then a decade and have seen 3 drummers come and go... .R.I.P. Jon =(

Mark is an outstanding drummer, but then again, so was Jon...let's just say they're both awesome, Taka is a slick bassist and Grant is a fooking awesome songwriter :)

im not a drummer so I can't tell if what they are doing is complicated unless its fast. Mark was throwing in some stuff that Jon didn't record; it was amazing. Jon kinda made drumming look easy. Apparently thats a hard thing=)

Mark is indeed a more conventional, powerful drummer. Jon Lee, on the other hand, was a technical drummer that made everything look completely effortless.
