Wow that was way deceptive. Those type of lessons happen at Guitar Center when over the hill shredders come in and try and out do the young guitarist's. Lessons usually include how to's not watch me play. Cool licks but deceptive way to get seen.

I have only just one word for you ...AMAZING.If I;m not mistaken you're playing a left handed strat with the strings strung upside down , meaning high E is on the top Low E on the bottom . I've never seen any one do that . Man you need to send a Demo to a Record Producer .

he's playing a left handed guitar strung upside down..It would be like a righty guitar player stringing his guitar upside down (try it!). High E on the bottom and Low E on top..Jimi Hendrix DID NOT play like this. Jimi was left handed but strung his guitar traditionaly. High E on TOP etc..Anybody who claims to know anything about guitar should know this basic fact..James is definatley more like OTIS RUSH with more than a dash of SRV..This guy rips and so does his sweater..We can all learn here:)

mPGUNN, you are correct BUT: why go thru all that when theres a ga-zillion right handed guitars out there, and when you flip them, they are all ready upside down... lol

p.s. ( I play upsidedown as well ), and although --- I HATE BLUES RIFFS --- NATURALLY, I will compliment anyone on their playing ability when it is good, regardless of "my" playing preferences. I can't even come close to playing that kinda stuff with his finesse and confidence, as he so easily shows!!!!

hendrix didnt play that way. hendrix had an upsidedown right hand guitar but he did string it as a lefty. this guys got it as if you just put a righty upsidedown but on a lefty.
