But if you mean optically, well, if you build a tank today, you end up with a chassis on two treads and a turret for a crew of 2-3. If anything, it looks like a Leopard I, which was built from 1965 on, while the XM1-project was started in 1971.

I think Japan sees itself being a target and the best way to prevent attacks is by building up a good defense. Japan has not had a "standing" army in decades... I think we are witnessing that end.

Leopard 2　is over60ton , but TK-X is only44ton. TK-X could't based Leopard 2. it is japan orginal tank. it has nice C3I system and armoring by special ceramic
