  • This is WAY better than The Beatles!

  • They need to make more of this great music , instead of the sh*t music they are making these days !

  • Thumbs up if you still listen to this in 2012!

  • Qué lindo tema! Lo escucho bastante. Saludos a ustedes los belgas! Muy linda música hacen.

  • I was lookig for this son for the longest and found it heard it back in1984 inthe clubs

  • Studio 54

  • Non si puo' ascoltare..

  • They sound like Kraftwerk imitators. ;)

  • @GrumpyBoy86 No they don't.

  • @GrumpyBoy86 no they don't, they are however together with Kraftwork pioneers in electronic music.

  • proto techno lol

  • Etrangement ressemblant avec les titres du premier album de visage (1980) :)

Marc Moulin a participé a pas mal de titres electro dans le début des 80's il a notament travaillé avec Alain Chamfort et Lio.

  • Back in the early 80's living in Norwalk, CA., this song was heard in all the backyard parties and BBQ's. Those days, the music was called 21 and over, the genre was a cousin to 80's disco. FYI

  • This doesn,t sound like it was recorded 32 years ago

  • this is techno?

  • @Cassdp I think it's disco (duh...)

  • @Jer0mmel Its not disco, its techno!!! pure and simple

  • Heard it on FashionTV today. :O

  • @TheHousewives0000 oldfashion TV

  • WOW!!!! To find this is a gem for me, having never seen this video in Australia. Not sure if this was ever a single release in Australia, as "Rock Around the Clock" and "Twist At Saint Tropez" were. Anyway, glad I pondered to look this up, today. AWESOME!!!!

  • Never gets old, never gets boring.

  • People don't play like this anymore, even with more power under they fingers.

  • Nice video!

  • Better quality, with english vocal or on thepiratebay : Hard to find 80's singles from Belgium .

    Regards from poland

  • @xiho Belgium had a lively post-punk and new-wave scene in the beginning of the eighties. Visit Antwerp and Brussels, there's plenty of second hand vinyl.

  • Kung Fu Junkie - Go Boyz

  • Mastoviti poput konstruktora lade. xD

  • RIP marc moulin

  • If anyone wants (and are near Los Angeles, CA ) you can still "DISCO" and listen to these type of music... it happens once or twice a month.... the DISCO "movement" is still ALIVE!!!

  • MAN THANKS GOD I FOUND THIS SONG. IT TOOK ME A FEW YEARS TO FIND IT BECAUSE I DID'NT KNOW THE SONG'S NAME. THAT WAS GOOD MUSIC.

  • Me trae unos recuerdos fantasticos de mi juventud! It brings back fantastic memories from my youth!

  • thumbs up if this song is better than justin bieber

  • @vichoste Definitley agree with you there! Kraftwerk, Telex, New Order, The Cure et, all put today's pathetic excuses of singers like that wimp Bieber and the Glee cast to complete and utter shame!

  • @vichoste I like the sound of the vacuum cleaner in the morning when hungover better than Beiber but thumbs up anyway.

  • @vichoste Name a song that is NOT better than Justin Booby

  • simplement magnifique!

  • Trans Moscow Express?

  • Fabulous to see this clip for the first time. Love Telex

  • Made in Belgium. The legendary Marc Moulin was behind this group.

    ps dont forget YELLO

most/all middle aged men by then as well

  • I was born in 1983 and I almost grew with this song. My father still owns the original LP I used to listen to...when I was little I spent days and nights only listening to it. I just jumped back 20 years whoa!

  • TRANS EUROPE EXPRESS ;)

  • Thats by KraftWerk "Trans Europe Express"....1978-1980.

  • I had never heard this until today, and I immediately realized where the "train whistle" sound from "Faithfull" by Fantom came from.

  • Thank you! I knew I recognized that from something.

  • that was my same exact reaction when i first heard this song

  • @ Stereolabdream

the basseline in this song is taken from kraftwerk - the robots ...

  • Buy yourself some ears, should come in handy...

  • Telex was a huge influence to me back in early 80's. Thank you for your great music R.I.P. Marc Moulin

  • OMG!!!!!!! HOW I WAS IN LOVE WITH TELEX!!! anyone get the remixes??? sooo many. F ing Fantastic!

  • Ach! They should have done a Scottish version 'GLASGOW Discow! lol

  • I can't believe this music is 30 years old.

    It's so modern and futuristic.

  • irony irony irony...(I hope)

  • No irony.

This music anticipated techno by 10 years.

  • And Techno...appeared in about 1988...so what is so advanced about this? I like it, but it is so obviously a combination of Trans Europe Express and Donna Summer (both far ahead of their time BUT ORIGINAL!) that it is hardly possible to give it such importance, I think...anyway-nice to meet a fellow electronic music fan, friend!

  • iT'S FROM 1979,STUPID

  • I think there may have been some irony involved, just not the "hipster retro-irony" that's so popular nowadays.

Consider the Eurovision appearance, in which Telex deliberately tried to get last place -- or any of their interviews from the period. They weren't terribly serious about the whole thing (and that's fine).

  • bonga bonga ng akets natis que porto bruha akets benjitang mataba

  • perfect

  • the co founders of electro music (telex, kraftwerk, yello etc.) ^.^ of course they get 5 of 5

  • tres novateur pour l'epoque géniale ...5/5*****

  • anyone know where to find the french (belgian) lyrics for this?

  • This is what New Beat has to be based on...

  • Les meilleurs.

  • En het beste is: in tegenstelling tot 'die andere groep' (Kraftwerk) nemen of namen ze zichzelf helemaal niet serieus :)

  • this is a good classic, belgian proud!!!

  • The bassline is almost 100% taken from Kraftwerk's "The Robots" which came out in '78. Very catchy tune though :)

  • Yes It's ok. The bassline is a simple copy ...But it sound very good

  • What a fantastic song!

  • R.I.P.. Beste Belgische song aller tijden. Way ahead of it's time!

  • Vive la Belgique. Merci pour tout Marc, dors bien :)

  • This was a pivotal jam in the evolution of Chicago House Music. Clubs were pumping this in '81 when the sound was called "New Wave"...which evntually became "Preppie Dance" and then finally HOUSE. CHICAGO HOUSE 4EVAHHH!!!

  • Frat, you are absolutely CORRECT.....100%

  • This song was ahead of its time. The closest thing we had in the US to Telex was Electric Light Orchestra.

  • I remember buying this record as a cut out for 1.98. It became a favorite for quite some time. Reminds me of Visage.
