  • Gotta love those hypalon coated bunker coats ! It's a shame somebody doesn't produce something like that now-they would be a Godsend in cold weather areas.

  • That is one hell of a video. Absolute raging inferno.

  • I love how, at around 8:20, you can hear someone mumble that Mayor Ray Flynn "never misses a photo op."

Truer words have never been spoken!

  • I remember seeing the aftermath when I was a kid. The only thing left standing was the plumbing.

  • that is just an insane inferno, it looks like a damn war zone

  • I lived right around the corner..I was 11 years old when this happened. Horrible.

Being treated at area hospitals were: Katherine Tully, 80, and her 41 year old daughter Kathleen Tully, and their third floor tenant Estelle Dion, 54. ..." Apparently the airline did not have enough insurance to pay for the damage so the homeowners had to take out loans to pay for replacing their houses. Source: Forry, Ed.

  • "In the early morning hours of Friday, June 26, a two engine Piper Seneca cargo plane operated by Cash Air, carrying financial newspapers and bank notes from New Jersey veered off course as it flew over Dorchester in its approach to Logan. The plane went into a sharp left turn, flew over several Dorchester neighborhoods and smashed into three houses on Lonsdale Street near St. Mark's Church. (Cont)
