You know, this song is like the theme of a Pokemon Nuzlocke challange. For those who doesn't know what a Nuzlocke run is, it's when you can only catch one pokemon at each route, and if your pokemon faints they are considered died and needs to be ether released or boxed forever. Most of the time they add that you need to nick name all caught pokemon, but that is just optional. It's just very sad to see a Pokemon you charisted and leveled up die. Comics on DA make the challange emotional, too.

Yes, the first season was very emotional, but Black/White has brought some of the emotions back I think, when I watched the recent episodes I got the sense that the producers where trying to bring that emotion back that was lacking in the previous seasons, which I think can make this season better than the Diamon/Pearl.

I just finished watching every episode of the Indigo league for the first time in over 10 years and there were some episodes I missed. Usually the banned ones. My favourite of them all had to be the episode where Ash gets stuck on the mountain. The image of all his Pokemon cuddling round him paired with this music made me feel genuinely sad and I did not expect that at all. Also straight afterwards 'the matters settled' plays and it was the most uplifiting feelings i've ever got watching pokemon
