I live 5 minutes from Lake Martin. I go fishing there alot... I recentley moved down here from north Louisiana...There is not ONE DAY that I dont see a few alligators. They are aggravating when you are trying to fish because they will swim up to your cork and try to eat it LOL!

A must visit on this lake is driving along the south road and seeing the wild alligators from the roadside. Those things are tanks, they are so big.

My only problem with it is the title. We call it a bayou, not a swamp. Still a good vid, though. I live close to Lake Martin. My father used to take us fishing over there when we were younger. I hope to do the same with my son when he gets older, keep the tradition going.

WOW we live really close to lake martin! It is AMAZING! And when we got there, the tour was arguing with an old man and they were cussin each other out and he sued the old man! He is a good swamp tour guide though but he curses more than a sailor!

Basin crawfish (or crawfish that live in naturally formed bodies of water) are very "fishy" tasting, have a strong flavor

I prefer the milder tasting man-made pond crawfish, me

I really liked the area. I want to go back when there are more aligators out, but I was amazed at everything I saw.
