Nice interpretation but she doesn't use the open throat technique or lowered larynx technique which give more colors to the timbre. Without that technique, it diminishes the colors of the timbre.
When she sings her sustained notes her larynx and to a lesser extent her jaw tremble. If you watch closely (especially in the beginning) you'll see it. She's a gorgeous voice and wonderfully musical, but I just hate to see it. It's a support / airpressure thing.
Um...HELLO?! Does anyone else hear that gorgeous Renee Fleming creaminess in that high Bb of hers?! Wow, this is the first time I've listened to Cabell and I'm already hooked.
